Regional Technical Manager – Refrigeration

• Implement the long-term upstream sales strategy in the assigned territories through insulation technical leadership and driving insulation product specification and penetration • Establish a customer base of mechanical engineers, specifiers, owners, and key stakeholders to develop new opportunities and capture market share • Provide advice to optimize system performance, and knowledge on Code compliance • Expand product knowledge, solution implementation, and market share within the commercial refrigeration market • Educate customers on Armacell offerings, highlights and benefits through demonstrations and presentations • Responsible for conducting technical applications training programs including reviews and revision of these as directed to certify the contractors and supervisors on job sites • Attends project site visits to assist clients with project delivery e.g. applications training, demonstrations, advice/guidance
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or related field required
- Minimum of 3–5 years of territory experience in HVAC, plumbing, construction, equipment industries with a familiarity of the refrigeration industry preferred
- Expert knowledge on bid/specification process for commercial, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and industrial markets
- The ability to read mechanical drawings to identify application and equipment for products
- The ability to travel up to 65%
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.com, or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
