Role Description This role involves design and drafting, with a secondary emphasis on service coordination, as well as customer and market interaction. - Use design tools and software applications to provide a variety of technical services that support the design and specification of Weyerhaeuser Structural Frame products. - Produce comprehensive framing layouts for floor, roof and wall systems. - Provide design calculations for single structural members. - Provide design consultation to dealers, builders, general contractors, building inspectors, architects and engineers, sales associates and owners. Qualifications - 2-year technical degree OR equivalent construction industry experience - Ability to read and comprehend Residential Wood Frame construction documents - Microsoft Office suite knowledge – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc. - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Able and willing to reside in one of our operating locations Requirements - Residential wood framing construction background - Working knowledge of CAD and/or estimating applications - Certification in structural/architectural drafting - Previous experience with Engineered Wood Products (i-joists, GLB’s) - Previous Designer or Estimator experience - Understanding of roof and floor load development Benefits - Eligible for annual merit-increase program, targeting a salary range of $58,000 - $88,000 based on skills, qualifications, and experience. - Eligible for Annual Incentive Program, offering a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. - Comprehensive employee benefits plan, including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and life insurance. - Pre-tax Health Savings Account option with company contribution. - Other benefit options such as voluntary Long-Term Care and Employee Assistance Programs. - Support for personal volunteerism and diversity networks. - Training and development opportunities to help chart your path to a fulfilling career. - 401k plan with paid company match and annual contribution equal to 5% of base salary. - 3-weeks of paid vacation during the first year of employment, with additional vacation accrual after six months. - Eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours.
Job Requirements

• Perform and direct design of ductwork, piping and equipment selection for plumbing and fire protection systems independently on assigned projects. • May supervise or provide project management direction within the mechanical discipline to include the monitoring of project progresses and project budget. • Prepare Revit/BIM modeling of construction drawings of plumbing and fire protection systems from schematic design to construction administration phases including layout, sketches and detail drawings as required. • Edit specifications relating to existing or new projects. • Independently research as need arises and respond to emergent issues. • Specify mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers, and air handling units. • Review shop drawings for compliance of specifications and contract documents. • Interface effectively with clients and members of the project team, attend Owner, Architect, Construction Administration (OAC) meetings with an understanding and focus on the project budget. • Respond to RFI’s and review of change orders in the preparation of construction documents. • Conduct job site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Attend and participate in construction meetings. Site visits frequently require a physical walk-through of site. • Coordinates work activities on specific projects with several persons with various levels of capability; participates in business development and marketing activities. • Perform other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma. • Design responsive UI elements and components that align with our brand guidelines, ensuring accessibility and usability best practices. • Maintain and evolve our design system in Figma, including reusable components, styles, and assets, to ensure consistent handoffs to developers. • Conduct user research sessions, create user flows, and iterate on designs based on feedback and testing. • Prepare design specs, annotations, and assets for seamless developer handoff, including interactive prototypes for usability reviews. • Participate in sprint planning, design critiques, and retrospectives to drive iterative improvements. • Stay updated on design trends and tools to enhance our Figma workflows.
• Perform functional verification of IP logic to ensure the design meets specification requirements • Develop comprehensive IP verification plans, test benches, and verification environments • Execute verification plans and run system simulation models to analyze timing, power, and design behavior • Identify, reproduce, and debug issues in the presilicon environment • Implement corrective actions to resolve failing tests and improve overall verification quality • Collaborate closely with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams on design and verification improvements • Document test plans and actively participate in technical reviews with design and architecture teams • Maintain and enhance existing functional verification infrastructure and methodologies • Contribute to defining verification infrastructure and TFMs required for functional design verification.
