The SMX Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a Sourcing Recruiter to help drive our talent acquisition strategy and join an existing team of sourcing specialists. You would be joining a high performing team that continues to meet and exceed KPIs while providing best-in-class experiences to candidates, hiring managers, and clients. This is a remote role, with occasional travel to the Virginia and Maryland offices as needed. At SMX, a Sourcing Recruiter provides support in tough-to-fill, niche positions where we typically need to look externally for top-tier technical and mission-focused talent. Duties & Responsibilities Sourcing & Execution - Execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for technical and non-technical roles in Digital Transformation, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, ERP, Mission Operations & Intelligence. - Leverage Boolean search strings, AI powered sourcing tools, internal candidate database, CRM, social media, and professional networks to uncover passive talent. - Build and maintain warm talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across the organization. - Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, interest level, and fit for open positions. - Submit qualified candidates to recruiters and hiring managers with detailed profiles and screening notes. Stakeholder Engagement - Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership across all business units to understand talent needs and align sourcing efforts with organizational goals. - Work as part of a collaborative sourcing team that is aligned across the entire organization. - Deliver exceptional customer service by providing regular updates, setting realistic expectations, and addressing concerns promptly. What You'll Need - 3+ years of sourcing or full-lifecycle recruiting for competitive market segments, particularly in highly technical skillsets. - Proficient in advanced sourcing techniques, Boolean searches, building talent pipelines, reaching out to passive talent. - Strong analytical skills to track and measure sourcing activities, driving data-informed decisions. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, thriving in a team environment. What’s great to have - Experience recruiting up to a TS/SCI FSP clearance. - Familiarity with Intelligence, C5ISR, Space, Security, and Digital Transformation talent markets. - Experience with Greenhouse ATS or similar applicant tracking systems. - Experience recruiting for proposals and business development opportunities.
