• Partner with strategic relationships to identify businesses and opportunities either directly or through RFP. • Research and identify businesses across sectors where military experience translates to key roles and opportunities. • Use LinkedIn, professional networks, email/text campaigns, and other tools to contact HR leaders, business managers, and business owners. • Book and conduct introductory calls to pitch Hire Veterans' services. • Follow up and close on new business opportunities. • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates. • Build and maintain strong relationships with client and prospective client stakeholders, and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions. • Develop and implement strategic sourcing methods to attract top talent, including passive candidates. • Source candidates for active roles using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and internal tools. • Conduct initial candidate outreach, screens, and submittals. • Track interactions and pipeline in our CRM. • Build and maintain a pipeline of engaged veteran and veteran family member job seekers. • Source candidates for active roles using LinkedIn and Ashby to support current staffing needs. • Execute Talent Acquisition strategy for branding, sourcing, screening, interviewing and selecting top talent, within budgetary constraints. • Follow Standard Operating Procedures for a sustainable and efficient Talent Acquisition program. • Develop effective recruitment strategies, including job posting optimization and digital employment marketing. • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job profiles and maintains communication with them throughout the hiring process. • Provide candidates with information on job duties and requirements, training programs, salary, benefits, company mission and values, and company culture.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, market mapping, and advanced sourcing techniques.
- Preferred experience recruiting in specialized industries such as technology, healthcare, or engineering.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, skilled trades, or technical recruiting.
- Prior experience working with veterans or their family members.
- Confident communicator — written, phone, and Teams.
- Comfortable working independently and remotely.
- Proactive, persistent, and performance-driven.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
- Experience in recruiting, sales, or client acquisition (B2B or agency preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years Agency/Staffing experience.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Ashby preferred, and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other job boards.
- Prior experience with job fairs, campus recruiting, and/or military hiring events.
