Preventative Maintenance Service Technician
Smart Care
• Start your day from home and travel to commercial customer sites • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems • Diagnose and repair rooftop units, split systems, walk-ins, reach-ins & related equipment • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components • Identify potential issues before they become costly breakdowns • Communicate clearly with customers regarding system performance and recommendations • Maintain accurate service records and manage your daily schedule efficiently • Participate in on-call rotation as needed
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in rooftops, mechanical rooms & outdoor conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime
- Bonus Points If You Have EPA Universal Certification
- Experience in commercial HVAC/R systems
- VRF, rack refrigeration, or controls experience
- Military mechanical background
- A strong independent work ethic with a team-first mindset
