Title: Senior Product Manager, Weekend Platform Location: San Francisco, CA Department: Product Employment Type Full time Location Type Hybrid Compensation - $176K – $242K Job Description: About Us Weekend is the leading developer of voice AI games for smart TVs. Our games attract millions of users every month, with family favorites like Jeopardy!, Song Quiz, CoComelon: Sing and Play with JJ, and Wheel of Fortune. We believe voice interfaces will become the main way people access entertainment in their living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and cars. We’re building a bundled subscription product similar to Netflix or Spotify for the emerging category of “AI-powered games.” Weekend was founded by Max Child and James Wilsterman in 2024. The founders went Y Combinator in 2018 and landed a spot on the 2022 YC Top Companies List. We’re a quickly-growing team headquartered in Union Square, San Francisco. Role Summary Weekend is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead our Weekend Platform team. Platform builds the foundation every Weekend game and user-facing surface runs on: the shared primitives game and product teams build with (AI services, cross-platform SDK, streaming infrastructure for AI-native games, A/B testing and feature flags, the tracking SDK, AI prompt and agent tooling) and the backend systems that power Weekend itself (platform APIs, identity, billing, engagement and growth tooling). When Platform delivers, the whole company moves faster. Game teams ship more, engagement and growth experiments move faster, and more customers stick around. You'll own the systems other teams build on, and your impact will show up in their velocity and the customer outcomes that follow. This job opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are comfortable with on-site attendance in our Bay Area office 3 times per week and are either currently residing in or near the Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work. What You'll Do at Weekend - Own the Platform roadmap end to end - from shared infrastructure game and product teams build with, to the backend systems powering Weekend (engagement, conversion, growth, payments, identity) - Embed inside game and product teams. Understand what's slowing them down on the metrics that matter (engagement, conversion, retention), then collaborate and ship the Platform work that unlocks them. - Run ongoing discovery with game and product teams to surface the friction points blocking velocity; trace every Platform bet to a customer outcome. - Earn adoption. Know what game and product teams need next, then design primitives so well they become the obvious way to build on. - Partner closely with your engineering counterpart (Senior EM, Platform) and PM peers across Hub, Games, and Growth - Identify the next generation of Platform primitives as Weekend's product surface expands We're Excited About You Because You Have - 6+ years in product management, with at least 3 building platforms, infrastructure, developer tools, or APIs at a consumer or developer-facing company - Deep technical fluency - you read PRs, hold your own in architecture discussions, and take positions on trade-offs - Customer obsession that holds even when your work isn't user-facing. Every roadmap call still traces back to what the person on the couch feels. - A track record of Platform work that other teams actually adopted, with measurable outcomes - Speed-first instincts - you ship a v1 to learn, not a perfect spec to gate - Daily, fluent use of AI tools and a sharp opinion on how AI is changing the PM craft - Experience driving cross-team alignment between game, product, and engineering orgs Bonus Points - CTV, console, streaming, or multi-device consumer platform experience - Voice, LLM, or agent-driven product features shipped in production - Internal developer experience ownership (SDKs, starter kits, CLIs, docs) - Experience navigating org structure changes - splitting a team, forming one, or consolidating scattered work Our Stack - Linear - AI tooling (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) - Amplitude - Notion - Slack The Hiring Process - Stage 1: Recruiter Screen (30min) Adrienne - Stage 2: Hiring Manager Screen (30min) Riyadh - Stage 3: Onsite Panel - Stage 5: Founders Chat As an AI company, we're a huge believer in the value of AI tools. That being said, the interview process is intended as a conversation - we want to get to know you and your experience. Please refrain from using AI tools during all Weekend interviews unless otherwise specified. What's in it for You - Your medical, dental, and vision insurance is 100% covered by Weekend, for yourself and all dependents and we match 401k! - We offer a flexible, hybrid work-from-home and in-office work model. - We offer unlimited paid time off (enforced 2-week minimum), 16 paid holidays, 40 hours of bereavement leave, and unlimited sick days. - Our generous parental leave policy includes 24 weeks at 100% pay for birthing parents and 12 weeks at 100% pay for non-birthing parents. - We offer visa support for eligible candidates, making relocating for the job smoother and more streamlined. - A full breakdown of our benefits is here! For Pay Transparency: The final offer amount may depend on experience, education, skills, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.

The founders went through Y Combinator in 2018 and landed a spot on the 2022 YC Top Companies List. We’re a quickly-growing team headquartered in Union Square, San Francisco. Role Summary Weekend is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Studios team, embedded on Jeopardy or Song Quiz. You'll work across the full game development lifecycle — from prototyping new features to shipping production-quality experiences — using TypeScript, React, and AWS GameLift Streams. This role is critical to maintaining development velocity on two of our most strategically important titles. This job opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are comfortable with on-site attendance in our Bay Area office 3 times per week and are either currently residing in or near the Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work. What You'll Do at Weekend - Own game features end-to-end from idea through prototype, production, and beyond. Much of our stack is TypeScript and React. Some other technologies in play are Unity, AWS GameLift Streams. - Make life easier for yourself and your collaborators: improve processes, speed up the deployment pipeline, broaden test coverage, etc. sharing knowledge as you go so the whole team ships faster. - Make sure what you built is actually being played -- or improve it until it is using usage data, telemetry, player feedback, and bug reports as a compass. - Ensure cross-device compatibility across supported platforms. - Make product decisions, not just technical ones. Decide scope based on value to users. - Proactively identify risks, shape engineering decisions, and mentor teammates over time. We're Excited About You Because You Have - 6+ years of software engineering experience. - Strong command of TypeScript and React in production environments. - Experience shipping and owning real-time or game-adjacent products at scale. - A track record of collaborating closely in team environments (not just solo shipping), including working directly with product and design to shape what gets built. - Comfort working across CI/CD pipelines and multi-platform compatibility. - A product owner's mindset: you measure success by what players experience and whether features get used, not by PRs merged, and you move fluidly from prototype to release to live iteration. Bonus Points - Experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine. - Shader and WebGL / ThreeJS development. - Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2 and Lambda. - React Three Fiber (R3F) usage. - Experience on live-ops or games-as-a-service titles. Our Stack - TypeScript, React, ThreeJS, React3Fibre (R3F), CI/CD pipelines, Git The Hiring Process - Stage 1 (Preliminary Video Call): with a member of our recruitment team. - Stage 2 (Engineering Panel): with various members of our engineering team. - Stage 3 (Onsite Interview): with various partners and team members. - Stage 4 (Founder Chat) with our Founders. Title: Art Lead Location: San Francisco Department: Product Design Employment Type Full time Location Type Hybrid Department Product DesignCompensation San Francisco$192K – $288K Job Description: About Us Weekend is the leading developer of voice AI games for smart TVs. We're building a bundled subscription product similar to Netflix or Spotify for the emerging category of "AI-powered games." Weekend was founded by Max Child and James Wilsterman in 2024. The founders went through Y Combinator in 2018 and landed a spot on the 2022 YC Top Companies List. We're a quickly-growing team headquartered in Union Square, San Francisco. Role Summary Weekend is hiring our first in-house Lead Artist to own the visual craft across our entire games slate: Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, Song Quiz, Wit's End, CoComelon, and titles in development. This is a hands-on role. You'll ship game UI, HUD, menus, lobby, and key art moments yourself, run the specialist contractor roster, and set the standard for what the Weekend games art studio becomes. Lead Artist today, with a clear path to Art Director for the right person. This job opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are comfortable with on-site attendance in our Bay Area office 2-3 times per week and are either currently residing in or near the Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work. What You'll Do at Weekend - Ship the screens. Game UI, HUD, menus, lobby, and key art moments on titles in flight and in development. The work needs to land in a living room, not a desktop. - Hold the craft bar across every Weekend title. The same household plays across our games. The interaction and finish should feel like one studio made them, even as each title keeps its own visual identity. - Run the specialist roster. Decide who you need, when, and for which titles. Brief and direct contractors on character, environment, motion, and video. Own scope, timeline, and quality on those engagements. Cut the spend that isn't earning its keep. - Ship production-ready, not previs-perfect. Get art into the actual title alongside engineering, then iterate. Don't over-stay in mockups. - Set what the games art studio becomes. Hire the next artists alongside you, shape the standards the team works to, and grow the bench as the slate grows. - We're Excited About You Because You Have - 6+ years shipping game UI, HUD, and key art across TV, console, web, or mobile. Your portfolio shows finished screens you took from rough to live. Multiple shipped titles is a plus. - Exceptional game UI and HUD craft for stylized, family-facing titles. Typography chosen rather than defaulted. Density that fits the surface. Motion that means something on a tap. Range across the rest: composition, color, hierarchy, layout, illustration as an adjacent discipline. You produce key art and screens yourself, not just briefs. - Daily AI in your hands. Midjourney, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or whatever you reach for. You explore ten directions in an hour and ship faster, and you have a sharp opinion on where AI belongs and where it doesn't. - Managed and directed contractors on shipped game work. You've held the bar with specialists you don't see every day, owned scope and budget, and stepped in to ship the fix when the work wasn't landing. - Bias to ship. You'd rather get art into the actual title this week and iterate than spend a month polishing in a deck. - Love of games. You play them, you have opinions about why some feel right and others don't, and you bring that intuition to the work. - Bonus Points - AI side projects, art-related or not. Any AI work you've built on the side. - Mobile game UI experience, including mobile-controller surfaces. - Game-show, party, trivia, or family co-viewing format experience. - Built an art team from one seat up. - Our Stack - Figma for UI design - Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) - Image-gen tools (Midjourney and similar) - Claude, Cursor, v0 for prototyping and prompt work - Unity for engine-based titles - AI-driven asset pipelines on our newer game scaffolding - What's in it for You - Your medical, dental, and vision insurance is 100% covered by Weekend, for yourself and all dependents, and we match 401k! - We offer a flexible, hybrid work-from-home and in-office work model. - We offer unlimited paid time off (enforced 2-week minimum), 14 paid holidays, 40 hours of bereavement leave, and unlimited sick days. Role Description Weekend is looking for a skilled Technical Sourcer to join our Recruiting team on a contract basis. Our current recruiting team is heads-down on active reqs, which means building and maintaining a meaningful pipeline of passive talent isn't getting the dedicated attention it deserves. You'll own this work — identifying, engaging, and nurturing top-tier technical talent across our key hiring profiles so we can move quickly when roles open up. This is a part-time contractor engagement (~20 hrs/week) with a proposed start of June 2026 through November 2026. This is a remote-eligible contract role. Candidates based anywhere in the US are welcome to apply. What You'll Do at Weekend - Build and maintain an active pipeline of engaged talent across Weekend's highest-priority hiring profiles: Senior Software Engineers (Full-Stack, Platform, Games), Engineering Management, and Product Managers. - Use a variety of sourcing tools (depending on the role and the market) to conduct strategic, targeted outreach — going beyond keyword searches to find candidates with the right experience and fit. - Set up preliminary calls with highly qualified talent on a rolling basis and hand off warm leads to the full-cycle recruiting team. - Track outreach performance, test messaging strategies, and report on engagement data so we can continuously improve our sourcing approach.
