Senior SEM Specialist

Role Description We are looking for a paid media specialist to own Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns across two markets. This is an individual contributor role — you build, run, and optimize campaigns yourself. The focus is lead generation: - Qualified enquiries from small business owners in India and the US, with separate strategies, budgets, and targets for each market. Responsibilities - Campaign management - Build and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, and Demand Gen. - Run Meta campaigns across Facebook and Instagram — lead gen, retargeting, and traffic. - Maintain separate campaign structures, keyword strategies, and bidding logic for India and the US. - Create and optimize ad copy for India and U.S. audiences. - Own budget allocation across platforms and markets, shifting spend based on performance data. - Lead quality - Work with the sales team to define qualified leads and optimize campaigns toward that definition. - Review lead quality feedback regularly and adjust targeting, messaging, and offers accordingly. - Identify which segments, keywords, and creatives produce leads that convert and prioritize those signals. - Tracking and attribution - Own conversion tracking across Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, and Google Tag Manager. - Implement offline conversion imports so platforms optimize on actual sales, not just form submissions. - Identify and resolve tracking gaps proactively. - Testing and reporting - Use automation and AI-assisted workflows to improve reporting, analysis, testing, and optimization efficiency. - Run structured tests on copy, creative, audiences, landing pages, and bid strategies — document findings and actions taken. - Manage negative keyword lists and audience exclusions to control wasted spend. - Produce weekly and monthly reports on spend, leads, and cost-per-lead by market and platform. - Collaboration - Work with SEO, content, website, and sales teams on integrated acquisition efforts. - Recommend landing page and conversion improvements based on campaign data. Qualifications - 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads for lead generation, preferably for digital services, SaaS, agencies, or local businesses. - Hands-on experience with campaigns in both India and the US. - Proficient in conversion tracking: Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads conversion actions, Meta Pixel, and Meta CAPI. - Ability to write effective ad copy for India and U.S. audiences. - Comfortable with CPL analysis and independent spend decisions. Requirements - Good to have - Familiarity with SEO, Local SEO, AEO, GEO, or Google Business Profile. - Landing page optimization or CRO background. - Zapier, Make, or Apps Script for workflow automation. - CRM familiarity. - Google Ads certification. This role involves writing, curating, and proofreading website content for US-based small businesses—high-volume, high-ownership work where quality and clarity matter. Write clear, engaging website page copy (H1/H2/H3, section copy, microcopy, CTAs). Curate and polish AI-assisted drafts to match the customer brief, natural US tone, readability, and brand voice. Proofread and refine customer-provided content (fix grammar/flow while preserving meaning and intent). Structure pages for web reading: scannable sections, logical hierarchy, consistent voice and formatting. Deliver consistently in a high volume production environment. Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements, handle feedback, and meet daily timelines.
