Role Description The Compliance Audit Analyst is responsible for the timely and effective completion of Health Care Integrity Program documentation audits and risk assessment projects for coding, documentation, and billing accuracy. - Conduct physician/provider and facility documentation audits. - Ensure accuracy of data entered into the CD Internal Audit Database and prepare reports for audited providers, department leadership, and organization leadership. - Analyze audit data and provide summary feedback to clinic and billing staff, making recommendations for improvement. - Work with the billing and coding departments to determine charge corrections and refunds resulting from compliance audits. - Collaborate closely with the billing department to minimize denial issues for appropriate reimbursements. - Receive and respond to audit, documentation, and coding review requests from the billing department. - Perform research for various billing and coding scenarios. - Provide input in the development and improvement of procedures used to complete the audit function. - Assist in conducting formal/informal education sessions for educating and training physicians, non-physician providers, and other staff. - Identify additional opportunities to improve education of physicians, non-physician providers, and staff. - Prepare and produce billing/coding/documentation communication for guidance documents, website content, newsletter content, education content, and other communication channels. - Develop materials for education and communication derived from audit findings for feedback to physicians, department billing staff, and other compliance staff. - Identify education/awareness opportunities and guidance topics based on types of questions/issues received. Qualifications - Experience with using and navigating through an electronic medical record system. - Knowledge of state, federal, local, and payer-specific regulations and policies pertaining to documentation, coding, and billing. - Demonstrated capacity to work independently in an organized, detailed manner while maintaining a collaborative team environment. - Ability to think abstractly and concretely. - Ability to develop reports, presentations, and spreadsheets. - Strong computer skills including effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Internet Explorer. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. - Experience in handling complex organizational projects and excellent problem identification and solution skills. - Ability to gain the trust and confidence of providers, compliance team, and billing staff. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in health administration, health information management, or another related field preferred. - CPC, CCS-P, or CPMA required. - Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare compliance, healthcare operations, coding, and/or documentation auditing in a healthcare organization preferred. • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, software, and hardware • Provide support for network systems including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks • Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability • Assist in the maintenance of backups, recovery plans, and security protocols • Assist service desk team members with user issue escalations related to hardware, software, and network problems • Assist with software and hardware updates, patches, and configuration changes • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and system operations • Update user guides and technical documentation for company systems • Help implement security measures including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection • Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry regulations • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative troubleshooting efforts

• Provide advanced expertise in Workday Financial Management for process analysis, design, configuration, and problem-solving in a complex, multi-system environment with a strong focus on end-to-end financial solutions and integrations • Serve as lead systems administrator for Workday Finance applications, including Core Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable), Accounting Center, Expenses, Procurement, Projects, Revenue Management, Assets, Cash Management, Close & Consolidation, and related modules • Uphold the integrity of Workday Finance data and processes through continuous examination, audit controls, and reconciliation activities • Configure and schedule routine and ad hoc advanced, matrix, and composite reports; create advanced calculated fields; and ensure report accuracy and integrity • Interpret data requests while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate financial processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization on a consistent basis • Lead the creation of process documents and job aids for all Workday Finance and integration-related work to ensure consistent knowledge across teams • Take a consultative approach when working with cross-functional teams (Finance, Accounting, IT, etc.) to create detailed requirement documents for system changes, with full understanding of downstream impacts on integrations and processes • Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements, and define objectives for Workday Finance applications and their integrations with internal and external business processes • Maintain both user-based and role-based security assignments and Workday’s authentication policies to ensure proper visibility and protection of confidential financial information • Apply advanced problem-solving abilities and provide alternative solutions based on business requirements, with particular emphasis on integration design and data flow • Perform job functions adhering to company values with a customer service focus on innovation, service excellence, and teamwork to provide the highest quality support to Finance and business users

• Oversee and support the daily operations of all revenue cycle functions, including but not limited to billing, follow-up and collections, cash posting, denial management, and credit balance reviews. • Establish and maintain departmental policies and procedures. • Communicate relevant information to other departments. • Establish controls and review mechanisms to ensure procedures are being followed correctly. • Develop, redesign, and monitor key performance indicators including payer mix, A/R, collection rates, adjustments, bad debt write off, estimated collections, appeal success rates, and other requested parameters. • Serves as the subject-matter expert on regulatory, compliance, and legal requirements associated with medical billing and CMS. • Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and directives from regulatory agencies and third-party payers. • Develops and maintains internal controls to target revenue recovery throughout the organization by identifying charge capture, coding, and reimbursement problems, then recommending/implementing solutions. • Oversees the integration of acquired practices’ revenue cycle system into organization’s legacy RCM application. • Monitor A/R effectively and ensure aging categories are within established goals and national benchmarks and verifies collection processes are being followed. • Responsible for maximizing the collection of medical services payments and reimbursements from patients, insurance carriers, financial aid, and guarantors. • In conjunction with operations, reviews and enhances insurance verification, coding review, billing, collection, and payment posting processes for efficiency and best practices.

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT and infrastructure projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry best practices. • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management. • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. • Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. • Coordinate with various IT teams to ensure project deliverables are met. • Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams, stakeholders, and vendors. • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular status reports to management and stakeholders. • Ensure project documentation is maintained, including requirements, design specifications, and post-implementation reviews. • Ensure project activities comply with organizational IT policies, HIPAA, and other relevant industry regulations. • Collaborate effectively with other IT teams and departments. • Interface with technology vendors for support, procurement, and strategic planning related to infrastructure solutions within project contexts.

• Serve as SME for Workday HR, including business process design and configuration. • Develop and maintain the people analytics function, providing on-demand dashboards and reports to support business decision-making related to people. • Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and business representatives to determine user and business needs, and design business processes that automate and streamline in a compliant manner. • Coordinate with IT technical team to troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues and failures. • Serve as lead functional representative for requirements gathering related to new integration development. • Coordinate and participate in the development of change management and training associated with changes in design, upgrades, and/or implementation of new systems or features. • Develop and ensure quality education and training media and materials to facilitate end user adoption and absorption. • Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of supervisory org, location and cost center hierarchies as well as position management process. • Ensure ongoing compliance with security management. • Routinely audit security profiles and assignments. • Configure and implement business process upgrades and system enhancements, lead testing and data validations, maintain data integrity, and ensure that overall system performance is aligned with business objectives. • Develop, edit, test and deploy reports to support business needs. • Assist in developing data audits and providing day-to-day system maintenance to monitor and maintain data accuracy. • Perform regular audits on key processes and/or data to ensure accurate payroll processing and other downstream/upstream/cross-stream impact. • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop technology solutions that help streamline and automate HR processes. • Ensure timely resolution of inquiries from employees. • Lead and facilitate testing of new releases and upgrades.
