Role Description The Child Center of NY, Inc., a not-for-profit social services agency serving children and families throughout New York City, is seeking a Legal & Compliance Operations Associate to serve as a key partner in our Legal & Compliance Department. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role is designed for a self-motivated professional who enjoys building efficient systems and ensuring operational excellence within a mission-driven organization. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with day-to-day operations of the compliance program, including helping to ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and external reporting obligations. - Serve as the primary administrator for the department’s contract management system. - Organize and maintain legal and compliance records, including incident documentation, board governance materials, and policy archives. - Support HIPAA compliance efforts, including responding to medical records and information requests, tracking access logs, and maintaining related documentation. - Assist with the documentation and tracking of compliance-related incidents and follow-up actions across a variety of programs and departments. - Help draft, format, update, and distribute agency policies and procedures in collaboration with legal and compliance leadership. - Track policy dissemination and assist with staff acknowledgment processes. - Conduct legal and regulatory research to support compliance and risk management activities. - Provide administrative support for audits, internal reviews, and external monitoring activities. - Support the department’s response to subpoenas, contract reviews, and information requests, as needed. - Coordinate scheduling, file management, and workflow tracking for the Legal and Compliance Department. - Perform other duties as assigned to support the legal and compliance needs of a growing and diverse nonprofit agency. Qualifications - Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a paralegal, compliance specialist, or similar legal/compliance support role. - Prior experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services settings strongly preferred. - Knowledge of or exposure to HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and general regulatory compliance principles. - Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint); familiarity with compliance management systems or document management software a plus. - Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree preferred. Work Environment - This is a fully remote position. - Must be available to work standard business hours (Eastern Time). Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

Role Description The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is responsible for the fiscal management of programs with third-party revenues (fee-for-service) and acts as a liaison between Finance and program operations. - Building revenue models and budgets based on program operating assumptions - Review, record and analyze monthly fee-for-service revenues in accounting system (FundEZ) and billing system based on billing subsystem data and reconcile balances to receivable as of month-end - Review and ensure staff allocations are accurate in both Human Resources and Finance systems. Serve as liaison with operations when changes are needed. - Review monthly budget comparison reports with program operations including the underlying operating drivers impacting results - Develop forecasting models to evaluate projected results based on various leading program indicators and review findings with program operations. - Present result of analysis to program management and executive officers - Perform quarterly analysis of receivable balances against cash received Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. Master’s degree preferred - Three to five years of general accounting experience - Three years of financial planning, analysis and forecasting experience is a must - Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with different stakeholders - Excellent time-management skills - Excellent/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must Requirements - Accounting experience in a non-profit environment and working knowledge of fee-for-service revenue streams is a plus (Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party insurance) - Working knowledge of FundEZ nonprofit accounting software is a plus - NYS CFR (Consolidate Fiscal Reporting) Company Description The Child Center of NY is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Summary: The Child Center of NY is seeking a resourceful, innovative, and highly organized Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in shaping our hiring strategy by developing and executing multi-channel sourcing plans, building strong relationships with hiring managers, and delivering a thoughtful candidate experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate brings both curiosity and creativity to their work, demonstrates high personal accountability, and is skilled in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Role Parameters: This position will be primarily remote, but will require regular travel to various locations across NYC to participate in career fairs, hiring events, etc. Candidates must live in NYC. This role is temporary and slated to go through the end of August with the possibility of extension. Only candidates who live in NYC will be considered.
