Role Description You’ll be the go-to expert for Tandem diabetes management products, providing support and education to patients and healthcare professionals—both face-to-face and virtually. You’ll train HCPs, collaborate with territory managers, and help grow the Tandem Diabetes business. Primary Duties & Responsibilities - Deliver engaging product training for patients, HCPs, and customers. - Plan, execute, and document compliant, effective clinical sessions. - Highlight Tandem’s unique market value and clinical differentiation. - Support Territory Managers to meet or exceed regional sales goals. - Build strong relationships with HCPs to encourage product adoption. - Conduct patient & HCP education sessions to gain new customers and retain existing ones. - Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare timely clinical reports. - Manage company property, expenses, and training materials with integrity and professionalism. - Attend regional and corporate meetings to stay connected and informed. Qualifications - Exceptional at relating to patients and HCPs. - Skilled at coaching and educating on one-on-one and group sessions. - Clear, confident presenter to diverse audiences. - Reliable team player who adapts quickly to change. - Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred. - Comfortable traveling 80%+ in your region and working from a home office. Requirements - Clinical background (RN, RD, or equivalent) preferred. - Experience coordinating and delivering diabetes education programs. - Registration maintenance preferred but not required. • Supports measurement and insights across HCP and patient marketing, from awareness and engagement through lead capture, qualification, field conversion, therapy starts/orders, and retention/renewal • Helps maintain and improve the measurement framework that connects marketing activity to downstream commercial outcomes • Works under Commercial Analytics COE and partners closely with Sales Analytics and Marketing to standardize KPIs, improve attribution and ROI reporting, support test-and-learn measurement, and translate performance trends into practical actions • Provides marketing funnel inputs to support planning and forecast discussions, including lead volume, conversion rates, campaign timing, and known operational constraints • Maintains a consistent measurement framework across HCP and patient journeys, connecting marketing activity to downstream commercial outcomes • Partners with the COE, Sales Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Strategy, IT/Data, CRM, and marketing automation teams to standardize KPI definitions, audience logic, routing rules, reporting requirements, and documented assumptions • Develops and maintains recurring dashboards, weekly performance views, monthly scorecards, and leadership-ready summaries that provide trusted, consistent views of marketing and funnel performance • Supports attribution and ROI reporting across patient and HCP marketing channels • Applies practical measurement methods, including first-touch, last-touch, rules-based attribution, and more • Conducts segmentation and targeting analysis for HCP and patient programs • Links HCP marketing exposure to field execution and downstream outcomes • Measures the patient funnel from lead capture through qualified lead, conversion, order/start, and retention/renewal
• As a Territory Manager, you’ll team up with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to bring our innovative insulin pump therapy to patients and providers in your community. • Leverage your industry sales experience to meet or exceed sales goals through strategic business planning and customer identification. • Drive business growth by creating and executing smart territory plans. • Spot opportunities, open doors, and build lasting partnerships with healthcare professionals (MDs, DOs, RNs, CDEs, RPhs, etc.) to create value. • Deliver product education and ongoing support to providers, patients, and clinical educators. • Represent Tandem at events, conventions, and community outreach. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and customer experiences.
• Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll for approximately 2300 employees in a multi-state environment using Workday • Manage Payroll Inbox and Workday Help • Maintain confidentiality and provide high level customer service to both internal and external customers • Audit payroll before and after submission by pulling reports and using formulas to reconcile data • Review time cards for hourly employees • Prepare final and manual checks for employees as needed • Accurately update, upload, and maintain employee records according to submitted action forms • Understand company policies on various payroll-related topics • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information • Process all Verification of Employment paperwork for employees • Monitor incoming payroll emails and respond or forward to appropriate department • Assist in implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures for the payroll department • Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations • Uphold standards of trust and integrity due to access to sensitive information.
• Assure all insurance claims are processed timely, accurately, and efficiently • Secure payments from both contracted and non-contracted insurance entities as well as customers • Work closely with Customer Sales Support to assure data accuracy and communication of requirements from health insurance plans • Review medical criteria to assure patient documentation meets standards • Carefully review all patient related data and documentation for accuracy prior to claim submission • Create and submit healthcare claims to insurance companies • Communicate with patients to advise on status of insurance claims, as necessary • Contact patients regarding collection of outstanding invoices • Field inbound calls from patients regarding inquiries related to insurance claims • Make outbound investigational calls to insurance providers to determine status of outstanding claims • Negotiate structured payment plans • Access CRM to receive and provide up to date patient claim information • Keep up to date with specifications on all of Tandem products and services • Confirm completion of required training plan before assuming job responsibilities • Ensure work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements
• Responsible for responding to and documenting customer technical inquiries via phone calls, chat messages and emails from prospective and current customers • Determines the need of each contact with the goal of achieving the best resolution • Document every call into a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system • Converse with customers in an empathetic and supportive manner to promote the most precise information relating to the issue • Acts as subject matter expert on matters related to technical, sales, or supplies support and handles all calls in compliance with all the appropriate regulatory requirements outlined by departmental Standard Operating Procedures SOPs • Responds timely to resolve inbound customer calls • May offer chat and outbound call support through the same support line • Using approved communication guidelines, responds to customer concerns or inquiries • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions in responding to customer requests • Ability to work in a technical environment providing solutions and services to customers that on occasion may be in a stressful situation • Uses training materials and process flow charts to record accurate and thorough documentation of customer contact calls and emails within the CRM system • Identifies potential health and safety issues with products and follows appropriate internal notification procedures • Uses knowledge to propose recommended improvements to customer related processes and materials • Acts as a customer advocate to represent customer needs internally • Confirms completion of required training plan before assuming job responsibilities • Consistently meets or exceeds relevant Customer Care metrics which may include accuracy, call monitoring, and schedule adherence requirements • Complies with department’s attendance policy • Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements • Ability to handle calls in general CTS or CSS queues as needed • Provides second level product support to CTS or CSS Specialists as required
