• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Medical Strategy Directors and Solution Architects. • Define and manage the department’s budget, resource allocation, and internal workflows to ensure the team supports growth targets. • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, aligning Medical Solutions with Sales, Product, and Engineering. • Partner with Sales to lead discovery sessions, mapping complex business challenges to AI-driven solutions. • Develop ROI models and Business Value Assessments (BVAs) that demonstrate the impact of AI on manual burden. • Oversee the creation of technical blueprints ensuring solutions are both medically impactful and technically feasible. • Oversee the transition from Sales to Implementation, ensuring adherence to scope, timing, and medical compliance. • Design and lead change management frameworks for Tier-1 pharma clients to ensure high user adoption. • Establish 'Medical AI Playbooks' to standardize the onboarding of Field Medical, Insights, and Publication teams. • Serve as the chief advocate for the 'AI-First Medical Affairs' paradigm shift, educating the market on predictive insights. • Lead steering committees with Pharma C-suite to align digital transformation roadmaps with Sorcero’s AI capabilities. • Maintain high-profile presence at industry conferences (MAPS, ISMPP) through keynotes and authored white papers. • Target % of deals where medical solution design is validated by the prospect. • Reduction in duration from contract signature to 'Go-Live'. • Support account expansion through successful implementations. • Achieve Monthly Active Usage (MAU) thresholds across deployed accounts.

• Manage end-to-end accounting cycles, ensuring all day-to-day general ledger functions meet month-end, quarter-end, and year-end deadlines. • Execute monthly close procedures, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintenance of the close checklist. • Perform variance analyses on monthly results to ensure accuracy and provide insight into financial fluctuations. • Own the Accounts Payable (AP) process, including managing expense categorization and maintaining robust internal controls. • Handle billing and accounts receivable by creating and submitting customer invoices on an as-needed basis. • Monitor budget integrity by analyzing revenue and spend variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior quarters. • Act as the primary liaison between the company and external Tax and Audit vendors to ensure seamless compliance. • Develop and maintain accounting standards, establishing the organization’s principles, practices, and procedures to support a growing scale. • Drive process improvements and accounting initiatives that strengthen the department’s foundational operations.

THE ROLE We are looking for an AI Engineer with experience in enterprise SaaS environments, with a focus on Generative AI and Data Science skills. The ideal candidate will have experience leading cross-functional product teams designing, building, and training AI-powered services for processing complex data in the life sciences domain. The SD will contribute to the rapid expansion of our platform adoption by life sciences manufacturers, globally. The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker with a track record of collaboration and driving revenue. The candidate must be flexible to adapt to a start-up environment, curious about new technologies and business challenges, have the humility to ask questions to better understand, and the courage to challenge the status quo. This SD must have expertise selling Enterprise SaaS software solutions across the medical and commercial functions, and a business understanding of big data and analytics. Experience in life sciences (biotech and pharmaceutical customers), with a focus on medical, safety and commercial functions is a plus. The individual will be a key member of the commercial team that is responsible for achieving Sorcero’s sales and revenue targets. SALES DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES - Sales: Identify customers and build relationships in target accounts. Understand customer needs and processes and establish the Sorcero value proposition in meeting the customer needs. Develop a pipeline to achieve annual sales targets. - Product Demonstration: Perform demonstrations of Sorcero’s platform offering both on site and via the web. Promote the benefits tied to a business need, use case and customer benefit - Customer Operations: Work with revenue operations and solutions team to develop proposals, and with the implementation team to ensure that the platform implementation is done to scope and customer expectations. Work with the marketing team to improve customer communication. - Sales Operations: Maintain CRM hygiene by updating opportunity status on a weekly basis. Collaborate with revenue operations to ensure revenue and sales numbers are accurately reported. Work with Sorcero executive team to establish and negotiate contract value and close deals. - Customer Insights: Collect and document competitive intelligence to drive a differentiated solutions strategy. Keep customer tracker documents updated during each selling and implementation stage. Ensure that each new customer team member is onboarded and aware of the customer history. - Corporate Citizenry: Actively participate in company meetings with sales managers and other functional team members. Support team members in assigned internal initiatives. Be fearless and solution oriented. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS A collaborative individual contributor with inspiring executive presence and communication skills, with expertise in enterprise SaaS sales. - Bachelor’s or advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS, PhD). - 10+ years of software sales experience. - 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience. - Experience in selling to medical, safety and commercial functions in life sciences (biotech and pharmaceutical) firms, a plus. - Successful track record of building deep business relationships with executives in large or highly strategic life science customers and delivery partners. - Deep understanding of the life science organizational structure, buyers, and buying processes. - Discipline to manage pipeline and execution in CRM System (Hubspot). - Knowledge of and experience with big data and analytics needed. Experience with life science data sets, vendors and competitive landscape, a plus. - Knowledge of the state-of-the-art in NLP, NLU, NLG, and Deep Learning Language Models. - Effective communicator with the ability to engage with all levels of management and present complicated technical concepts in layman’s terms; make the complex, simple. - Excellent planning, analytical and interpersonal skills. - Effective team player and collaborator with the ability to work across Marketing, Solutions, Implementation, Product Development and Engineering business lines. We offer rewarding compensation that will include a base salary in the range of $125,000-$150,000 depending on experience and location (within the US), as well as variable compensation.
