• Partner with Product, Compliance and business teams to help design and launch new products, translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical solutions. • Advise on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters across securities, AML/ATF, payments, consumer protection and other areas impacting Shakepay's business. • Lead regulatory initiatives, including supporting examinations, audits, licensing work, policy development and engagement with regulators. • Provide practical, business-oriented advice to leaders across the company, helping teams navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions while balancing legal, regulatory and operational considerations. • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation and scalable processes to improve how legal work gets done and enable the business to move faster. • Support the team on a variety of other legal matters as needed, including commercial agreements, corporate governance, employment and strategic projects.

• Collaborate with Product, Compliance and Operations teams to help design and launch new products, translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical solutions. • Advise on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters related to securities, AML/CFT, payments, consumer protection, and other areas affecting Shakepay’s business. • Lead regulatory initiatives, including supporting reviews, audits, licensing work, policy development and engagement with regulators. • Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to business leaders, helping teams manage ambiguity and make informed decisions while balancing legal, regulatory and operational considerations. • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation and scalable processes to improve how legal work is done and enable the company to scale faster. • Support the team on a variety of other legal matters as needed, including commercial agreements, corporate governance, employment and strategic projects.

Deliver polished, production-ready experiences on tight timelines, with strong attention to detail in both design and code. • Elevate the UI architecture: Evolve our design system and component libraries so design and code stay perfectly in sync across mobile and web platforms. • Act as a force multiplier: Raise the bar for the entire design team by helping designers ship in code and integrate AI tools into their workflows—improving speed, autonomy, and technical depth across the organization.

• Lead and develop the team responsible for protecting Shakepay’s platform and customers from fraud, abuse, scams, and financial risk. • Own operational performance across fraud operations, including team capacity planning, prioritization, escalation management, and continuous process improvement. • Act as the DRI for key fraud and risk initiatives, driving alignment and execution across engineering, product, design, data, compliance, and operations teams. • Drive the evolution of Shakepay’s fraud prevention and risk operations capabilities, balancing automation, controls, customer experience, and operational scalability. • Work closely with engineering and data teams to improve risk tooling, operational workflows, detection systems, and reporting infrastructure. • Use data and operational insights to identify emerging fraud trends, improve decisioning strategies, and optimize operational efficiency. • Champion customer-centric fraud and security experiences across the product journey. • Help scale risk operations across current and future financial services products while improving cross-functional coordination and reducing operational silos. • Foster a high-accountability, high-performance team culture through strong coaching, operational rigor, and clear ownership.

• Define and evolve the architecture of Shakepay's internal developer platform • Design and build core infrastructure that supports our growing systems and teams • Lead development of internal tools and automations that significantly improve developer productivity • Design and implement infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices across the platform • Build and evolve observability systems, including monitoring, alerting, and dashboards • Design and implement AI-powered internal tools and agentic workflows that automate operational and development tasks • Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production environment • Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to promote system design and operational best practices • Lead technical initiatives spanning multiple engineering teams • Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions through design reviews and architecture discussions • Influence the long-term technical direction of our infrastructure and platform ecosystem • Participate in incident response and drive improvements in operational resilience

• Lead the team responsible for protecting Shakepay’s platform and customers from fraud, abuse, and financial risk while enabling scalable growth and a best-in-class customer experience. • Own workload management within fraud operations, team capacity, and roadmap planning. • Work closely with data science to develop scalable detection systems, experimentation frameworks, and risk decisioning strategies. • Act as a growth catalyst by implementing an effective risk management strategy that balances customer friction with fraud detection and operational complexity. • Collaborate closely with our product teams to ensure fraud and risk controls are a core consideration for all product launches. • Drive the risk technology strategy by partnering with engineering and design to build a detection framework that mitigates losses and protects our user base. • Produce consistent, comprehensive fraud intelligence reporting to drive operational efficiency, rule optimization, and business communications. • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures that streamline cross-functional operations. • Scale fraud operations by breaking down silos across current and future financial services products while maintaining close collaboration with our operations, customer support, and compliance teams. • Advocate for user experience improvements around fraud and security controls throughout the customer journey. • Oversee vendor relationship management, ensuring cost-effective procurement and high service quality. • Create a sense of accountability within your team, lead by example, and instill a high-performance culture.
