Role Description This position supports the successful execution of perimeter operation (meat, produce and perimeter merchandising) in Corporate stores. The Job’s primary focus is to work with District Managers and Regional Directors to improve execution and increase sales. The incumbent will work directly with the retail operations team to improve meat and produce sales and profitability. This position collaborates with procurement / merchandising to develop and sell perimeter, meat and produce, with best-in-class standards. This position will also coordinate regional variations in perimeter merchandising / promotion and store scripting with the field. About You - Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar field. - 3-5 years related experience and possesses a demonstrated track record of success in leading a complex, multi-channel sales or wholesale organization. - Superior interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with a keen focus on prospecting and new business development. - Entrepreneurial mindset and approach. - Laser-focus on quality, availability, service and cost. - Proven competencies in driving operational excellence across the organization, with measurable financial, quality, and cycle time improvement and a clear understanding of the linkages in supply chain from demand planning through delivery to the customer. - Proven experience in using data (KPIs) in a measurable way to achieve a specific strategic result that is relevant to the organization.
