• Lead, manage, and develop a global team of Strategic Account Managers across the US, Europe and International markets, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance oversight. • Define and implement a scalable strategic account management framework, including account planning methodologies, engagement cadences, and expansion playbooks. • Drive net revenue retention and growth to meet or exceed Sapio’s annual targets across Sapio’s strategic accounts, ensuring customers are achieving measurable value and deepening their investment in the platform. • Develop and deploy a regular cadence of KPIs that are both visible and managed relentlessly to underpin predictable growth performance. • Assume personal responsibility for top line performance and personally invest in the critical accounts that form the basis of our annual performance. • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, acting as a senior point of escalation and partnership for the most complex accounts. • Partner with the CCO and broader organizational leadership to set targets, define priorities, and report on the health and performance of the strategic account portfolio. • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to align on customer needs, surface expansion opportunities, and feed market intelligence back into the business. • Recruit, onboard, and retain top account management talent, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused team culture across geographies that is best in class. • Drive operational excellence through effective use of CRM tools, pipeline hygiene, and consistent reporting standards. • Represent Sapio at industry events, customer meetings, and executive briefings as a senior commercial leader with high market credibility.
• Extend and enhance our in-house platform for managing and automating SaaS deployments into AWS environments. • Write and maintain Java code to deploy and integrate AWS resources for our offerings. • Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure components for SaaS deployments. • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues. • Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for technical solutions. • Follow established SDLC processes and development standards. • Support testing and validation of platform deployments and updates.
• Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to shape and execute engineering strategy aligned to Sapio’s product and commercial growth plans • Provide leadership and mentorship across engineering managers, technical leads, and senior engineers, helping develop future leaders within the organisation • Guide architectural direction and technical decision-making to ensure platform scalability, maintainability, and long-term product integrity • Provide structured oversight of engineering delivery, including resource planning, prioritisation, release planning, and timeline management to ensure predictable, high-quality execution. • Help mature engineering processes, delivery predictability, and operational excellence while maintaining the agility expected within a scale-up environment • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, AI, Solutions, and Commercial teams to ensure engineering outcomes are aligned with customer and market needs • Support the continued evolution of our low-code / no-code platform and integration of AI-driven capabilities into our product ecosystem • Strengthen engineering governance, quality standards, and security posture as the organisation continues to scale globally • Provide executive-level technical insight to support business planning, investment decisions, and organisational growth • Champion a collaborative, transparent engineering culture that balances innovation with accountability • Ensure engineering teams remain focused on delivering measurable customer value rather than purely technical output
• Own the outward-facing product narrative, developing positioning, messaging frameworks, and demo strategies that clearly articulate the value of Sapio’s platform across ELN, LIMS, and CMC workflows. • Lead and deliver high-impact product demonstrations to prospective customers, partners, and at industry events, tailoring content to the audience — from bench scientists to C-suite executives. • Act as a strategic bridge between product management, sales, and marketing, ensuring go-to-market activity is grounded in product reality and customer insight. • Have deep domain expertise across CMC, Bioanalysis, Bioprocessing, GMP Manufacturing, and QCLIMS with a strong understanding of biologics and the broader life sciences landscape, to credibly engage with scientific and regulatory stakeholders. • Partner closely with the Head of Product and executive leadership team to align external messaging with product direction and company strategy. • Represent the voice of the customer internally, synthesising feedback from demos, customer conversations, and market signals into actionable product and positioning insights. • Collaborate with sales on RFP responses, proof-of-concept engagements, and strategic account support where product expertise and demonstration capability are required. • Build and maintain a library of demo environments, use-case scenarios, and customer-facing collateral that accurately reflect the platform’s capabilities. • Support product marketing efforts, including content development, conference presentations, webinars, and customer advisory board preparation. • Engage regularly with the executive leadership team and CEO, providing clear, confident, and commercially aware perspectives on market positioning and customer feedback.
• Own the accuracy and completeness of all employee data across HRIS and related systems; identify and drive system integrations and automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve data integrity. • Execute semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll processing for a global employee population, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple geographies, and partner with Finance on reconciliation and reporting. • Administer first-line compensation and benefits processes, including offer letter generation, merit cycle data management, enrolments, life events, and carrier coordination; serve as the primary employee-facing contact for benefits enquiries. • Own the full onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days and manage offboarding end-to-end; continuously improve both processes based on employee feedback and operational efficiency opportunities. • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns, providing accurate, timely, and empathetic responses; triage employee relations matters and escalate complex or risk-bearing issues to the Head of People appropriately. • Coordinate and execute annual and mid-year performance review cycles, including timeline management, system configuration, communication rollouts, and manager and employee support. • Maintain standard HR dashboards and reporting cadences (headcount, attrition, compensation, hiring activity); respond to ad hoc reporting requests and proactively surface data trends or anomalies to leadership.
• Own the day-to-day accounting operations across US and UK entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. • Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting. • Prepare and post journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses in line with US GAAP and applicable UK standards. • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and KPI reporting packs for the VP, Finance and senior leadership. • Own accounts payable and receivable workflows, including invoice processing, vendor management, and cash application. • Support revenue recognition processes in line with ASC 606, working across the subscription and professional services components of our SaaS business model. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Customer Success on contract reviews, billing queries, and revenue-related matters. • Assist with the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors, ensuring documentation is accurate and audit-ready. • Monitor and maintain internal controls, identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and systems as we scale. • Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis, modelling, and projects as directed by the VP, Finance, including supporting board-level reporting and investor-facing materials.
• Meticulously qualify deals from a technical perspective and efficiently drive the sales cycle forward. • Be able to communicate the Sapio Sciences technical value proposition clearly and concisely. • Work closely with account executives to win life sciences customer accounts by technically demonstrating the value of our solution. • Build and maintain an expert understanding of the Sapio Science product set and roadmap. • Create and maintain a set of demos (and related scripts) of our solution tailored for each of our life science target segments. • Be able to confidently demonstrate the Sapio Science solution and technical value proposition to customers and prospects. • Understand each prospect’s goals and challenges and be able to reflect them into the organisation to ensure we deliver a successful solution and outcome for all. • Manage the creation of technical proposals, RFP responses and other necessary technical documentation to close a sale. • Work closely with our Customer Success team to ensure clear and comprehensive technical handover of customer requirements for deployment.
