Role Description The Senior Accountant will serve as a trusted financial partner within Renuity, playing a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information that drives decision-making across the organization. This individual will own critical components of the month-end close, lead divisional financial reporting, and support audits while continuously improving processes, strengthening internal controls, and leveraging technology for scale. This is a high-impact role for someone eager to grow in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment. - Lead the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Prepare and analyze GAAP-compliant financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and divisional financial packages for leadership. - Partner with FP&A and divisional leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing insights that drive performance. - Serve as a key liaison for external auditors; prepare schedules and documentation to support audit requirements. - Strengthen and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures across multiple business units. - Drive process improvements by streamlining workflows, enhancing reporting capabilities, and leveraging ERP and automation tools. - Act as a resource and mentor for junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous learning.
