If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you. - Pull drawings from customer systems to prepare RFQ packages to support both Domestic and LC sourcing, Supplier exits, Emergency transitions, LTA quoting and price justifications - Coordinate internally to Xclass parts - Run textport workflows and work with ITC/GT to expedite approvals - Establish and manage content serve accounts for suppliers - Support and coordinate supplier and RO queries related to specific RFQs within the customer space Qualifications - Blueprint reading is required as it will serve as the primary daily task(s) - Analyzing the bills of material for each drawing mechanical/electrical and finding all the sub components listed on the drawings and pull those drawings as well. - Ability to coordinate with a large group of stakeholders on various status updates and reports - Positive attitude with a strong sense of self-motivation - Familiarity with any of the following is preferred: Teamcenter, SAP, X-Class, Export Control - Excellent communication skills both intra-company and with customer/suppliers - High end level of excel knowledge Requirements - This position is classified as Remote within the United States. - Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required. - Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required. • Lead the DES model generation from concept modelling to fully detailed mimic of the program / system that meet the design scope, operating principals, performance metrics, safety, quality, delivery, cost, people and environment objectives • Lead the system optimization, cost avoidance, best practises capturing and sharing this with relevant Stakeholders • Able to work effectively with design teams to develop and optimize solutions considering multi-attributes within defined deadlines and time constraints • Guide the process using a product knowledge and awareness of potential design constraints to ensure due consideration is given in developing solutions • Co-ordinate and lead projects and teams feedback of results as required through design / project reviews / DES Dashboards • Lead optimization of the DES model against different model derivative mixes and operational parameters • Lead the bottleneck analysis of the system and develop strategies to remove and lead volume throughput increase studies and system what ifs • Guide the process to adhere to the vehicle derivative sequencing and build to sequence rules • Support the continual development of tools and techniques which enhance capability, improve quality and robustness of DES models
• Oversee IMS Schedule creation and tracking • Manage project RAILs to drive actions to completion • Monitor productivity and drive process improvements • Investigate and implement source control parts for compliant alternatives • Follow drawings update and approvals in PLM tool • Manage and Report on Project Schedules, Budget, and Priority • Seek advice from subject matter experts when required • Report project status during regular internal and external meetings. Typical reports would include updates on project status, assumptions, information needed, and overall program health
• Work with Supply Chain leaders to understand delivery needs and report progress. • Maintain a critical shortage tracker. • Lead LOB reviews and monitor performance. • Drive recovery actions and escalate issues when necessary. • Maintain trackers and provide weekly status reporting. • Support supplier recovery and performance improvement. • Prepare executive level presentations and recovery plans. • Identify critical path issues and support mitigation.
• Study engineering drawing and identify CTQ features. • Estimate the efforts required for programming each part. • Develop machining method with conceptual tooling and prepare presentation. • Generate CNC programs for tooling and part using CATIA V5 for 3 to 5 axis features. • Verify the programs using Vericut if required. • Support programs prove out and troubleshooting on the floor. • Support optimization of machining cycle time. • Coordinate with customer on workload and delivery plan. • Provide status report on weekly basis.

• Perform Engineering Part Analysis (EPAs) • Execute Transition Design Reviews (TDRs) • Identify export requirements • Review engineering drawings for content, notes, accuracy, legibility and other noteworthy findings • Evaluate level of difficulty to transition suppliers and identify roadblocks • Investigate and implement source control parts for compliant alternatives • Follow drawings update and approvals in PLM tool • Manage and Report on Project Schedules, Budget, and Priority • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure all data is captured and ready to present to chief engineering staff • Ensure that EPA and TDR milestones are met • Seek advice from subject matter experts when required • Report project status during regular internal and external meetings. Typical reports would include updates on project status, assumptions, information needed, and overall program health
