CNC Programmer, Catia
Quest Global
• Study engineering drawing and identify CTQ features. • Estimate the efforts required for programming each part. • Develop machining method with conceptual tooling and prepare presentation. • Generate CNC programs for tooling and part using CATIA V5 for 3 to 5 axis features. • Verify the programs using Vericut if required. • Support programs prove out and troubleshooting on the floor. • Support optimization of machining cycle time. • Coordinate with customer on workload and delivery plan. • Provide status report on weekly basis.
Job Requirements
- Experience of machining complex Aerospace parts with Aluminum, Titanium and nickel-based alloys.
- CNC Programming using CATIA V5
- Vericut verification
- Basic part modelling in CATIA
- Understanding of post processor and CNC 5 axis machine
- Prove out skills on machines
- Ability to optimize the process through cutting tools, setup optimization, tool path optimization etc.
- Ability to generate probing cycles.
- Awareness on export control regulations.
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with customers closely
- 6 to 10 years’ experience in CNC Programming
