Role Description Pretium Packaging is seeking a remote Key Account Manager (KAM) – Direct Accounts to lead strategic customer relationships, drive account growth, and win new business opportunities. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who enjoys balancing relationship management with business development while partnering cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. What You’ll Do - Grow & Protect Existing Business - Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of direct accounts while ensuring customer retention and profitability. - Expand business through upselling, cross-selling, SKU growth, and share of wallet opportunities. - Lead contract discussions and negotiations, including renewals and commercial agreements. - Identify and recover at-risk business opportunities. - Drive New Business Growth - Identify, qualify, and pursue new customer opportunities aligned with company objectives. - Lead commercial discussions and support onboarding of new business. - Lead Customer Relationships - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations. - Serve as the primary customer contact and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). - Cross-Functional Leadership - Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Pricing, Quality, and Customer Service to deliver on customer expectations. - Drive alignment and execution across teams to support customer success. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging, Engineering, or related field - 5+ years of B2B sales and account management experience in packaging (rigid or flexible preferred) selling to customers in large CPGs or Private Label accounts. - Proven success building and growing customer relationships in major accounts. - Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills - Experience with Salesforce and Excel - Ability to travel as needed (50% estimated) - Ideally located in the Midwest time zone and near a major airport. Role Description As our Remote Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, you’ll lead transformative programs, shape culture, and drive best-in-class compliance that goes beyond regulations. This position is best suited for a dynamic, strategic leader who can drive transformative safety programs, influence culture at multiple levels, and deliver measurable improvements in both employee safety and environmental stewardship. Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Health & Safety Leadership: - Lead plant level risk management and high-hazard operational safety programs across multiple sites. - Ensure OSHA-compliant safety programs, including incident investigation, hazard analysis, industrial hygiene, and comprehensive employee training. - Conduct safety audits, lead safety committee initiatives, and embed a proactive injury-prevention mindset across the organization. - Partner with production, facilities, and engineering teams to integrate EHS principles into processes, capital projects, and Management of Change reviews. - Develop and standardize health & safety policies across locations, ensuring consistent application and compliance. - Maintain strong external partnerships with emergency services, regulatory agencies, and industry associations. - Strategic & Organizational Impact: - Serve as a thought leader within the EHS function, shaping long-term strategy and embedding safety and sustainable ideas into corporate objectives. - Mentor and develop EHS professionals, building a strong talent pipeline and elevating site-level EHS leadership capability. - Share best practices and lessons learned across locations to promote continuous improvement. - Collaborate with local and corporate EHS teams to develop proactive risk-reduction strategies and ensure alignment with company-wide standards. - Environmental Leadership: - Directly assist site staff with EHS programs at locations without dedicated EHS staff. - Oversee environmental compliance for air, wastewater, stormwater, and hazardous/non-hazardous waste, ensuring alignment with EPA, state, and local regulations. - Interface with third party environmental team, prepare for audits, and manage inspection responses, root cause analyses, and corrective actions. - Provide transparent updates to leadership and stakeholders. - Oversee technical environmental projects, ensuring timely completion, compliance, and operational integration. Qualifications - Required: - Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, or related field. - Minimum 5–10 years of progressive EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on safety compliance and regulatory strategy. - Strong understanding of OSHA and general industry safety standards. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence safety culture, engage all organizational levels, and present complex concepts clearly. - Preferred: - Graduate Safety Professional (GSP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or equivalent professional designation. - Experience managing EHS across multiple sites and/or in a regional operational context. - Demonstrated success leading strategic, multi-site environmental and safety initiatives. Requirements - 50% travel to plant locations. - Frequent exposure to manufacturing environments, including hot and cold temperatures, noise, and potential chemical exposure. - Requires use of appropriate PPE and adherence to all food safety and regulatory requirements when applicable. The Senior Director of Operations is responsible for the overall performance of a portfolio of manufacturing plants. This leader ensures each site operates safely, reliably, and profitably, while delivering consistent results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People. This role leads through Plant Managers, setting clear expectations, reinforcing operating discipline, and translating company strategy into practical execution at the plant level. What You’ll Be Responsible For Multi-Plant Performance - Own performance across multiple manufacturing sites - Drive results in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People - Ensure consistent KPI management and operating cadence - Stabilize performance where needed and build sustainable improvement Operating Discipline - Lead deployment and sustainment of a structured operating framework across sites - Ensure tiered meetings, standard work, and visual management are functioning effectively - Hold Plant Managers accountable for execution and results - Partner with CI, Engineering, Quality, and Safety to drive continuous improvement Leadership Development - Coach and develop Plant Managers and their leadership teams - Assess leadership capability and succession readiness - Build accountability and problem-solving capability across sites Reliability & Execution - Ensure plants operate with stable, repeatable processes - Improve uptime and asset reliability in partnership with Maintenance and Engineering - Address recurring performance gaps with structured problem solving - Elevate systemic constraints that require enterprise-level decisions Cross-Functional Partnership - Align closely with Supply Chain, Commercial, HR, Finance, and Quality - Ensure customer commitments match plant capability and capacity - Support capital, integration, and footprint initiatives - Represent plant performance in executive reviews What We’re Looking For - 12+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience - Experience leading multiple plants or a large, complex manufacturing site - Proven success leading through Plant Managers - Experience implementing and sustaining a standardized operating system - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred Salary: $185k - $225k (Starting pay will be aligned to the candidate’s experience, education, and demonstrated capability. Not all candidates will be placed at the top of the range.)
