Business Development Manager – State and Local Government, Western U.S. & Canada

• Generate a robust pipeline that leads to new revenue within the State & Local Government market by identifying, developing, and maintaining strategic customer relationships with end users and other decision-makers and influencers • Identify and develop opportunities associated with new construction, renovation, modernization, and capital improvement projects across State, Provincial, and Local Government organizations • Initiate and participate on team, partner, and prospect sales calls and model the speed, agility, teamwork, and responsiveness required to win in the State & Local Government market • Work with Pre-Sales Applications Engineers to assemble solutions and sales proposal responses • Actively contributes to the development of marketing programs for this segment by working with outbound marketing to develop regional sales targets while implementing marketing programs that grow revenue • Collaborate with Marketing and Inside Sales Representatives to develop and update State & Local capabilities presentations, project cut sheets, and pre/post-bid presentations • Communicate with Regional Sales Account Managers regularly and support their involvement in State & Local projects with pricing, product information, contracts, and project process needs • Follow up on leads generated through prospecting, trade shows, networking events, construction project intelligence platforms, and other business development activities • Contribute to pricing decisions by providing market intelligence, competitive information, and other market, customer, and partner feedback • Actively contribute to the ongoing analysis, refinement, and execution of business strategies • Communicate market trends and competitive landscape to the Sales leadership team
• Install displays, mounting hardware, A/V equipment, and interconnectivity equipment at customer locations independently or with a team • Maintain and service installed products at customer locations • Provide installation, setup and teardown of product for demos and trade shows • Report and escalate product issues and resolution to appropriate personnel • Work with Technical Support and Engineering teams to resolve issues when standard troubleshooting and replacement of hardware does not fix the problem • Provide training and certification to integrators on site when appropriate conditions apply. • Provide accurate notes and documentation on completed projects • Provide backup support to the Tech Support/Helpdesk to provide answers to customers' technical requests via phone and email • Communicate end-user feedback and issues to appropriate personnel, and proactively propose solutions or appropriate actions • Ability to maintain acceptable standards of office conduct • Ability to come to work demonstrating timely and regular attendance • Ability to handle stress effectively • Ability to learn on the job in a fast-paced environment

• Our company is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to help us grow our business in the audio-visual (AV) industry. • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and maintaining our showroom presence in South Florida. • Desire to educate customers on display technology, in a showroom, office, or job site location. • Identify & develop new business opportunities. This will be accomplished by reaching out to potential clients, attending industry events, and participating in networking opportunities. • Drive business impact by conducting lead generation and innovative campaigns to attract customers. • Ensuring all business development activities are coordinated and executed in a timely manner. • Grow existing accounts clients by providing excellent customer service and offering new products and services. • Maintain CRM for contact details and to support pipeline management. • Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement sales strategies that align with company goals. • Work closely with the marketing team to create marketing materials and promotional campaigns that promote our products and services. • Manage the showroom and ensure that it is presentable, stocked, and up to date with the latest AV technology. • Meet corporate and sales objectives. • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Refine and execute sales strategy to meet business goals in the territory • Identify, recruit, attain, and manage the best channel partners and industry thought-leaders in the territory • Solicit and participate in joint sales calls, promote marketing programs, participate/conduct trainings and product demonstrations, participate in tradeshows and model the speed, agility, aggressiveness, teamwork, and responsiveness required to win in our marketplace • Establish performance measures and evaluate effectiveness and competitiveness of channel partners, Manufacturers’ Reps, and programs • Contribute to pricing decisions by providing market intelligence, competitive information, and other market, customer, and partner feedback • Actively contribute to the development of channel marketing programs - work with outbound marketing to develop and implement channel marketing programs and sales tools that grow revenue within the channel • Actively contribute to the ongoing analysis, refinement and execution of business strategies • Develop and maintain forecast reporting and provide regular and accurate updates to management
• Own the Media segment for North America, including revenue growth, pipeline health, and margin performance for broadcast and media customers. • Act as a player‑coach: carry a team quota while leading, mentoring, and developing a small team focused on broadcast and media production environments. • Refine and execute a segment‑specific sales strategy that protects and grows our existing media base while expanding into new accounts, applications, and partnerships. • Lead by example in the field by participating in customer meetings, joint sales calls, product demos, proof‑of‑concepts, and key industry events and tradeshows. • Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with end users, systems integrators, consultants, and channel partners that influence media display and visualization projects. • Partner with Marketing to define and execute campaigns, content, case studies, and events that strengthen our brand in the media market and generate qualified pipeline. • Collaborate with Applications Engineering and Product Management to shape solutions, proposals, and roadmaps that meet the technical and workflow needs of broadcast and media customers. • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights from the media space to inform pricing, positioning, and long‑term strategy. • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline visibility, and account plans in the CRM, and report regularly on performance and key initiatives to senior leadership. • Foster a culture of speed, agility, collaboration, and accountability within the team, modeling the behaviors required to win in a fast‑moving media marketplace. • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
• Lead large-scale strategic LED projects from pre-sales and proposal development through project kickoff, delivery, and final completion. • Coordinate across multiple internal and external technical disciplines including: - Structural mounting systems - Electrical power distribution - Mechanical integration - LED display systems - Media playback systems • Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans. • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, external partners, and clients. • Coordinate closely with engineering, manufacturing, operations, logistics, and installation teams. • Track and manage project milestones, procurement schedules, and installation timelines. • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear reporting to leadership. • Support site coordination during installation and commissioning phases. • Manage documentation including project plans, schedules, change orders, and commissioning reports. • Travel to job sites as required to support project execution and stakeholder coordination.
