• Develop and maintain pricing tools and profitability models. • Help to develop National Account strategies based on internal and external analysis of market conditions. • Assisting anyone on the National Sales team (NSD, NAM’s etc.) with market analysis and pricing. (Non RFP related) based on market conditions or contract terms/specific service requirements/ unemployment/ current fill rates that might increase our spend, or require higher pay rates for eligible employees. (If these do not match up well we risk not being able to service the customer.) • Assist Proposal Writer & Sales Team with Request for Proposal (RFP). • Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the industry via information obtained from financial publications and services, government agencies, company sources, and personal interviews • Operate in a consultative role to National Sales to help grow total gross margin dollars by identifying pricing actions that encourage higher sale values, conversion rates, margin rates, impact of promotional and seasonal pricing, and customer satisfaction. • Monitor input costing changes and develop sensitivity analysis thresholds to provide reporting on potential changes to finished National Account Pricing. • Present pricing analysis at a quarterly team meeting, with insights, trends, and suggestions. • Lead pricing-related projects including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations • Complete ad hoc reporting as required. • Effectively collaborate with cross functional departments including but not limited to: Legal/Contracts, Risk, Implementation, Major Accounts, Field Sales, Compliance, Finance and Field Sales to ensure competitive and successful pricing. • Manage and qualify inbound leads generated through digital campaigns, marketing automation, website forms, Qualified and other marketing channels. • Rapidly assess lead fit through structured discovery to understand workforce needs, timing, business challenges, and decision-making dynamics. • Accurately disposition leads and maintain clean, current data in Salesforce. • Provide insights back to marketing and sales leaders on lead quality, conversion trends, and regional demand indicators. • Research and target key accounts within assigned territories and industries to identify organizations with potential workforce or service needs. • Execute multi channel prospecting outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn, and sales engagement platforms. • Initiate conversations with hiring managers, operations leaders, and other decision makers to uncover opportunities. • Build pipeline by scheduling qualified discovery meetings and warm introductions for field sales partners. • Partner closely with field sales to align on regional priorities, target accounts, and pipeline needs. • Maintain accurate activity tracking, discovery notes, and opportunity progression in Salesforce. • Use platforms such as Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other research tools to maximize prospecting efficiency. • Engage through Salesforce Chatter, Microsoft Teams and Outlook to coordinate schedules, share insights, and support territory level planning. • Qualified meetings and discovery conversations that convert to revenue. • Accurate, insight-rich CRM documentation. • Weekly activity and pipeline reporting. • Research-driven account intelligence to support territory strategies.

Role Description The Business Development Manager, Strategic Accounts role is responsible for prospecting, closing and implementing new business that meets PeopleReady Skilled Trades’ Strategic Accounts customer profile. Candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of the Construction industry, with a focus on Electrical Trades. Candidates with existing relationships with large Construction / Electrical Contractors are highly preferred. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. - At least 7 years related experience selling to senior level decision makers with at least five years in account management and sales of strategic accounts. - Prior experience selling in the staffing industry highly preferred. Requirements - Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. - The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds. - Remote/virtual work environment; work from home with travel to clients. - This position requires travel up to 50%. Salary Range $80,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and geographic location.
