General Summary As a Digital Production Specialist primarily supporting the Alfred Music brand, you are the technical specialist responsible for preparing and managing product assets for both print and digital distribution. Your core responsibility is to support the Production team by guiding products through the reprint and lifecycle management process to maintain inventory levels and ensure market availability. This involves leveraging advanced design software and established archival techniques to convert legacy files or raw scans into current, compliant, print-ready, and digital-ready formats, while rigorously adhering to internal and vendor quality standards. This role is crucial for enabling the company’s sales, marketing, and distribution efforts across all platforms. You are a proactive problem-solver and a collaborative member of the team, working closely with Editorial, Marketing, and Purchasing. This role reports directly to the Director, Digital Production. Core Functions: - Manage the end-to-end reprint workflow for a large catalog of published products, prioritizing jobs based on inventory needs and sales history to ensure continuous product availability. - Prepare and deliver files according to the specific technical requirements of multiple external vendors and output types (e.g., offset, digital, print-on-demand) to guarantee high-quality physical production. - Execute all necessary pre-press adjustments—such as color conversion, bleed/trim management, font handling, and layer clean-up—following a detailed quality control checklist to achieve final print-readiness. - Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for final proof review and sign-off, confirming file integrity and compliance before mass production begins. - Generate and process various high-resolution digital product assets required for online distribution channels, e-commerce platforms, and marketing initiatives. - Maintain and process digital products for online consumption, ensuring that all data and assets are properly configured within the inventory and fulfillment systems. - Produce specialized assets, such as web-preview images for video and website product views, applying necessary watermarks, resizing, and reformatting according to platform specifications. - Manage the creation of Search Inside the Book (SITB) content files for key online retailers (e.g., Amazon, Google Books). - Help manage and maintain the company's extensive digital archive, including the retrieval, manipulation, and updating of product files. - Troubleshoot and recover legacy or lost files using a variety of internal and external resources, coordinating with historical printers and technical archives to complete product file sets. - Utilize and maintain product data across various internal systems (e.g., inventory, fulfillment, and product databases) to ensure data integrity aligns with all production and digital distribution efforts. Requirements Required Qualifications: - 2+ years of professional experience in a print production, graphic design, or pre-press environment. - Moderate proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat/Distiller (specifically for Pre-Press and File Inspection). - Basic knowledge of digital image editing, including preparing files for print (CMYK, spot colors), color correction, and manipulation of both vector and raster graphics. - Basic understanding of pre-press procedures, printer specifications, and quality assurance best practices. - Familiarity with standard operating systems and hardware platforms (PC and Mac OS). - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines and collaborate effectively within a team. About the Role As an Account Executive you will play a crucial role in accelerating revenue and business growth. Leveraging your knowledge of the music education marketplace, you will identify potential customers (Music Teachers & Fine Arts Stakeholders) and seek to build meaningful relationships with them. You will develop a deep understanding of their needs and desired outcomes and utilize your product expertise to successfully overcome doubts and obstacles, converting prospects into paying customers. This position will sit directly with the Sales team, work in close collaboration with the Customer Support and Customer Success Teams, Marketing Teams, and Product Teams, and report to the Manager of Sales. General Overview: As an Senior In-Services Specialist, you will own the full lifecycle of professional development delivery for MakeMusic and Alfred Music school district clients and prospects. Working closely with our Sales, Customer Success, and Education teams, you will serve as the primary point of intake for in-service requests, manage a network of skilled presenters, and coordinate all logistics to ensure exceptional, high-impact professional development experiences for educators across the country. This role is central to how our brands show up in classrooms and district professional development days. You will be the connective tissue between what gets sold and what gets delivered — ensuring every in-service reflects the quality and educational value that MakeMusic and Alfred Music stand for. This role sits on our Education team and reports directly to the Director, Sales. Core Functions: - Serve as the primary point of intake for all in-service requests sourced by Sales, Customer Success, and inbound inquiries from school districts — triaging, prioritizing, and scheduling sessions in a timely and organized manner. - Build, maintain, and manage a network of qualified in-service presenters and clinicians who deliver sessions on behalf of MakeMusic and Alfred Music, including sourcing new presenters as the program grows. - Coordinate all logistics for scheduled in-services, including presenter assignments, materials preparation, scheduling communications, travel coordination, and post-event follow-up. - Develop and maintain a scalable process and tracking system for managing the full in-service lifecycle from initial request through delivery and outcome reporting. - Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to align in-service scheduling and topics with account goals, renewal timelines, and expansion opportunities. - Track and report on program metrics — sessions delivered, districts served, presenter performance, and participant feedback — to support continuous improvement and leadership visibility. - Establish and uphold quality standards for in-service delivery, gathering feedback from participants and presenters to continuously improve program effectiveness. - Respond to inbound in-service requests directly from school districts, providing a professional and responsive point of contact for district administrators and educators. - Maintain accurate records of all in-service activities, requests, and outcomes in the company’s CRM system (HubSpot or equivalent). - Collaborate with the Education team on content, materials, and resources that support best-in-class in-service delivery across Music Brands. - Identify opportunities to scale the program, including developing standardized presenter training, playbooks, and delivery frameworks that reduce variability and raise the quality floor. - Stay up to date with music education trends, school funding opportunities, and educational policies that impact music programs. - Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in program coordination, event management, professional development operations, or a similar role managing multiple concurrent workstreams. - Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with external presenters, vendors, or contractors — including sourcing, vetting, and performance management. - Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage high request volume without dropping the ball. - Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent) and project tracking or scheduling tools. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and responsive approach to internal and external stakeholders. - Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Education teams to prioritize and align scheduling with business needs. - Background or genuine interest in music education, K-12 education, or edtech preferred. General Summary As the Senior Manager, Educational Services & Adoptions, you will drive revenue growth for Music Brands by owning the end-to-end strategy and oversight of curriculum adoptions, RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs across both MakeMusic and Alfred Music. Oversight and governance of content libraries, clear SLAs, quality standards, and the cross-functional accountability structures that keep submissions on time and on-brand across the Music Brands. - Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and senior leadership to develop strategies that align each submission with the customer’s needs and Music Brands’ evolving go-to-market positioning. - Establish clear, efficient ways of working with contributors across Sales, Customer Success, Solution Engineering, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance so their input is structured, consistent, and not a burden. - Provide competitive intelligence reporting, analyzing competitor strategies, product strengths and weaknesses, and adoption wins to sharpen and differentiate Music Brands’ approach. - Define, track, and report on adoption and proposal KPIs - including pipeline health, win rates, and market share. Providing leadership with regular visibility into performance of the proposal team, and using that data to continuously improve the Music Brand’ competitive positioning. - Represent Music Brands at national and regional educational conferences, building relationships with key decision-makers in districts and state agencies. - Own revenue attribution and pipeline development tied to adoption and proposal activity - proactively identifying, qualifying and progressing opportunities to the sales team & success teams that contribute to Music Brands’ growth targets. Performance against these goals will be tied to a variable compensation plan. Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and coach the Educational Services Team - setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and supporting their professional growth. As manager of this team, you are ultimately accountable for the performance and outcomes across customer training & enablement, contracts, and in-services. - Align the Educational Services Team’s work with Music Brands’ broader go-to-market strategy and revenue objectives, ensuring cohesion across proposals, programming, and in-service delivery. - Perform other duties as assigned. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.
