Role Description OpenDor Media is hiring a junior video editor to join our team. This role focuses primarily on the final stages of post-production. The Junior Video Editor will take completed edits and prepare them for delivery by handling tasks such as: - Color correction - Music integration - Coordinating sound effects with our sound designer - Preparing projects for quality control We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within an established editing workflow. This person should enjoy the technical and finishing side of post-production and take pride in making sure videos are polished and ready for release. While the role may occasionally involve editing when additional support is needed, the primary responsibility is helping bring projects across the finish line. This is a remote position reporting to Head of Video. What You’ll Do: - Search for, select, and integrate music tracks when needed - Perform color correction on final timelines - Perform basic sound cleanup and audio balancing - Coordinate with our sound designer and approve all sound effects - Assist editors with tasks such as gathering materials, organizing assets, and preparing projects for post-production - Help maintain organized project files and post-production workflows - Manage music licensing and track usage within our media library - Collaborate with the motion graphics team to ensure graphics are properly integrated - Prepare completed edits for final delivery and send projects to QC - Occasionally edit short and long videos for YouTube and social media Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of professional video editing or post-production experience - Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, and Audition - Experience handling final stages of post-production, including color correction, music integration, and audio cleanup - Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering polished final products - Excellent organizational skills, with experience managing project files, media assets, and music libraries - Ability to work efficiently within established editing workflows and implement notes from editors and producers - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical or editorial issues - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to independently learn new tools and workflows as needed - Fluency in English; Hebrew a plus Benefits - International exposure - High level of autonomy - Competitive salaries - Paid days off for Jewish & national holidays as well as competitive vacation policy - Great company culture and colleagues Salary Our target salary range for this position is $70,000.

In this role, you will be embedded within a specific department, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to everything the team works on — from initial planning through to delivery. You will help translate priorities into clear plans, own the day-to-day project operations, and make sure work moves forward smoothly and on time. This is a role for someone who thrives on building strong working relationships, getting into the details, and being the person a team can truly rely on. This is a remote, full-time position based in the United States and in the eastern time zone and reports to our Director of Project Management. What You’ll Do - Project Planning and Delivery - Own end-to-end project management for all initiatives within your assigned department, from kickoff through completion. - Translate team goals and priorities into clear project scopes, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. - Build and maintain project plans and task structures that give the team full visibility into what's happening and what's next. - Track progress, risks, dependencies, and changes, adjusting plans proactively to keep things on track. - Drive projects to on-time delivery while balancing quality, scope, and team capacity. - Embedded Department Support - Serve as the dedicated Project Manager for your assigned department — a consistent presence the team can rely on. - Develop a deep understanding of how the department works, what it produces, and what it needs to operate at its best. - Support day-to-day execution, coordination, and prioritization, and provide additional capacity during high-volume or high-complexity periods. - Coordination and Communication - Coordinate work across team members and stakeholders, facilitating clear handoffs and shared accountability. - Clarify roles, responsibilities, and decision-making so nothing falls through the cracks. - Lead project check-ins, planning sessions, and working meetings, documenting decisions, action items, and next steps. - Provide clear status updates to the team and leadership, proactively surfacing risks or scope impacts. - Systems, Tools, and Process - Use project management tools to ensure visibility, accountability, and consistency across all work. - Maintain organized project documentation and reporting. - Apply shared PM standards while adapting to the specific workflows and rhythms of your department. - Identify opportunities to improve processes, templates, and ways of working within the team. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in project management or a closely related role. - Experience working closely with a specific team or department as a dedicated partner or embedded resource. - Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Comfort working with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving project scopes. - Experience using project management tools to track work, timelines, and dependencies. Requirements - Familiarity with Wrike or similar project management platforms (strongly preferred but not required). - Experience in mission-driven, creative, or fast-paced organizations (strongly preferred but not required). - Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills (strongly preferred but not required).
