Scientific Director – Medical Affairs, Medical Communications

• Key scientific lead on various med affairs accounts • Provide editorial, scientific, and strategic expertise to client teams • Establish cohesive and dynamic relationships between accounts and editorial teams • Lead discussions in client meetings/teleconferences to ensure client satisfaction
• Manage and grow scientific team responsible for delivery of a full range of strategic medical communications / Peer-to-peer programs • Ensure the creation of high quality, accurate medical / scientific content with ability to expand management responsibilities as team grows • Embed team with clients / accounts and grow business beyond current state • Identify and develop strategic and tactical business recommendations relevant to client strategy and marketplace needs • Develop / lead / facilitate key strategy workshops • Demonstrate a high level of comfort articulating scientific and therapeutic information for multiple clients / therapeutic categories • Foster innovation and collaboration across Nucleus Global to position agency as leader in medical affairs medical communications
• Serve as a key client partner for global publication initiatives • Lead the execution of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and congress presentations from planning through submission • Manage timelines, budgets, and workflows to ensure excellence in delivery • Collaborate closely with scientific, editorial, and creative teams to produce accurate, compelling scientific communications • Support development and implementation of strategic publication plans aligned to clinical milestones • Ensure adherence to ICMJE, GPP, and journal/congress requirements • Contribute to organic account growth and new business opportunities
• Provide day-to-day organizational and administrative support to senior Client Services leaders. • Help develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and status reports. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with client objectives. • Track financial data using advanced Excel skills and ensure all information is accurate and up to date. • Contribute to team meetings, project planning sessions, and client communications. • Support other key initiatives and projects as assigned.
