Role Description NORY is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to own the hiring process as we expand nationally. This is a part-time, fully remote contractor role, where you will partner with hiring managers across NORY (Operations, Customer Happiness, Curriculum, Marketing, and Camp Delivery) to fill priority openings. What You'll Do - Source passive candidates: identify people who are not actively looking, write tailored outreach, and convert them into applicants. - Manage inbound applications across LinkedIn, Indeed, and our ATS (Ashby), keeping every candidate moving forward or out within 48 hours. - Run first-round screens (phone or video) using NORY's structured interview rubric. - Track recruiting metrics weekly: applicants by source, time-to-screen, screen-to-offer, and pass-through rates by stage. - Coordinate scheduling between candidates and hiring managers. - Maintain a "warm bench" of strong candidates for future openings. Qualifications - 3+ years of recruiting experience, in-house or agency, with a track record of sourcing passive candidates (not just processing inbound). - Ability to write outreach that gets replies, with real examples to show. - Familiarity with at least one modern ATS (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever) and confidence on LinkedIn Recruiter. - Highly organized to ensure nothing falls through the cracks, relying on systems rather than memory. - Honest about candidate quality, preferring to report "no one this week" rather than pushing a weak candidate forward. Compensation & Schedule - $27 to $37 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated sourcing track record. - 10 to 20 hours per week, fully remote. - Flexible schedule with two non-negotiable weekly touchpoints: a Monday planning sync and a Friday metrics review. - Contractor (1099) engagement, with a clear path to expanded scope as NORY grows. How to Apply Apply through this posting and complete the application questions on Ashby. We read every response carefully, so make them count. If you have a specific reason you want to work with NORY (a passive candidate you would source for us on day one, a recruiting playbook you have run that fits our stage, or a personal connection to our mission), email Sofia directly at sofia@nory.co . Tell us what you would do, not just who you are. EEO Statement NORY is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and candidates. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
Senior Mobile Engineer
NoryAI-powered restaurant management system that predicts sales, plans labour & optimises inventory for consistent profits.
• You’ll own the mobile platform end to end, from working out what’s there today to a full production rebuild and everything after it, working closely with product, design and engineers from across the business. • Build for the real world. The app has to hold up on patchy connectivity, old devices and flaky GPS, because for our users, clocking in reliably isn’t optional. • Set up the design system and modular building blocks in React Native, so the team can move fast without cutting corners on UX. • Put AI agents to work in parallel to generate and ship good code quickly. • Grow the build into a platform, owning the quality and pace of the mobile codebase and giving other engineers at Nory a solid base to build on. • Work closely with design and engineering, and stay outward-facing as the core of a small platform team.
