This position will challenge you to break the mold of the traditional ISV business development role and become an industry leader and influencer through social media and other creative ways to build a strong pipeline. - Recruit and develop new ISV partners primarily via self-generated leads by utilizing cold calling, professional networking, and personal connections and resources within the candidate’s network. - Manage ISV partner inquiries generated by company advertising campaigns, media events, and attendance at industry conferences. - Develop comprehensive, competitive proposals that drive new business opportunities. - Successfully lead negotiations and related contract terms (and related exhibits) that properly protect Velocity’s business interest while also addressing partner needs to create a mutually beneficial relationship. Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Recent merchant services sales experience in a hunting sales role, and ISV recruitment. - Previous experience successfully managing to a revenue quota. - Technical ability to clearly articulate product set, API/SDK, and general product knowledge relevant to qualifying successful ISV opportunities.
