Role Description FiduciaryxChange, by AmericanTCS, provides complete Fiduciary governance to inspire participants to save for a dignified retirement defining a retirement plan standard of excellence. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our retirement plans, working directly with the Compliance Managers. Your work will directly support the team's ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements, maintain accurate records, and deliver exceptional service. Location: The ideal candidate will be located in our Memphis, TN or Lexington, KY office and will work in a hybrid model, 3 days per week in office. (Remote candidates may also be considered). Responsibilities - Responsible for setting up service provider roles and compensation for benchmarking - Preparing annual fee benchmarking assessments - Compare service provider service agreements and fee disclosures for accuracy - Assemble annual compliance assessment document for each Compliance Manager - Assist Compliance Manager in collecting required notices and disclosures for distribution to participants - Assist in gathering current census and email information for notice delivery - Assist in monitoring timeliness of participant contributions - Assist Compliance Managers completing the annual required distributions (RMDs and forceouts) - Assist in monitoring support email box Qualifications - 2 years of qualified plan experience - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred - Strong interpersonal skills - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks within established timeframe - Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills - Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel preferred. Role Description The Onboarding Document Specialist is responsible for the drafting, amendment, and maintenance of tax-qualified retirement plan documents (401(k), 403(b), Profit Sharing, and Defined Benefit). This role ensures that all plan instruments are compliant with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and recent legislative mandates such as SECURE 2.0. You will serve as the bridge between legal requirements and operational execution. Responsibilities - Document Drafting & Restatement: Prepare customized Basic Plan Documents, Adoption Agreements, and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs). Lead the execution of "Cycle" restatements as mandated by the IRS. - Legislative Implementation: Monitor and integrate new regulations (e.g., mandatory auto-enrollment, long-term part-time employee rules, and emergency savings accounts) into existing plan shells. - Amendment Management: Oversee timely discretionary and required amendments. Track "Good Faith" amendments to ensure plans remain qualified during transition periods. - Technical Consulting: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for FxC Compliance Managers regarding plan design features like QJSAs, safe harbor provisions, and vesting schedules. - Compliance Auditing: Review existing documents to evaluate operational realities match the plan document provisions. Qualifications - Bachelors Degree from an accredited university preferred - Minimum of 4 years of qualified plan experience - ERISA Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations governing qualified plans. - Software Proficiency: Experience with document generation software (e.g., FTW). - Attention to Detail: Ability to spot a missing "check-box" in an Adoption Agreement that could lead to a compliance failure. - Analytical Writing: Ability to translate complex tax code into "plain English" for Summary Plan Descriptions.
