• The Senior Benefits Specialist serves as a key client service lead within Melita’s benefits administration service, overseeing the execution and ongoing management of employee benefits programs across all lines of coverage. • In partnership with the Benefits Advisor, this role supports client renewal strategy discussions and assumes ownership of post-renewal implementation and service delivery. • Responsibilities include leading Open Enrollment project management, executing renewal decisions, coordinating plan and enrollment changes, and serving as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, carriers, and vendor partners to ensure a high-quality client experience. • This role combines deep benefits administration expertise with the ability to anticipate client needs, navigate complex issues with carriers and compliance situations independently, and elevates the team through informal mentorship of Benefits Specialists.
Implementation Specialist

• Lead new client onboardings across HR administration, payroll, benefits, and leave of absence services. Own the outcomes: time to live, client satisfaction at go-live, and clean handoffs to ongoing service teams. • Partner closely with our internal technology team on platform configuration, data migrations, and integrations across systems including Salesforce and client facing technologies including ADP, Paylocity, Rippling, and others. Ensure technical setup is scalable, reliable, and built to last. • Work hand-in-hand with Sales, Client Success, Service Delivery, Product, and Finance to align on client expectations, scope, pricing assumptions, and post-implementation transitions. Be the connective tissue that ensures what was sold is what gets delivered. • Identify and champion opportunities to apply AI, automation, and modern tooling to implementation workflows. Payroll Specialist

• Learn and become an advanced user of our client’s payroll (ADP Workforce Now, Rippling and/or Paylocity) and SalesForce CRM technologies • Execute and manage the entire payroll process for your assigned clients while achieving quality of service ratings of 9+ on your client surveys • Accurately and efficiently process various payroll administration tasks for our clients in a timely manner such as prorating pay, calculating final pay, multi-state tax withholding, garnishments, and reports requests. • Experience with commissions, bonuses, stock compensation & expense reimbursement entries • Assist with Workers Comp, 401k, and financial audits as required • Excel Skills – must be comfortable with vlookup and pivots • Build strong relationships with your client contacts and colleagues based on mutual trust and respect and a shared desire to achieve excellent results
