Role Description Be the Microsoft Purview expert shaping how data is protected and governed across Medavie. We’re looking for a hands-on Microsoft Purview specialist to support and advance our enterprise information governance capabilities. In this role, you’ll take ownership of how governance is configured and delivered, ensuring controls are reliable, scalable, and audit-ready across Microsoft 365. Working closely with governance, privacy, and IT teams, you’ll translate requirements into effective technical solutions and play a key role in how governance is implemented and evolves across the organization. What you’ll do - Own Microsoft Purview configuration and administration: Configure and manage capabilities such as sensitivity labels, retention, and DLP. - Translate governance requirements into technical solutions: Develop scalable configurations aligned with privacy and compliance needs. - Test, validate, and optimize controls: Troubleshoot issues and ensure consistent, reliable performance. - Partner with IT and Security teams: Support implementation, changes, and ongoing improvements. - Support audit readiness and governance reporting: Ensure controls are defensible and aligned with compliance requirements. - Enable stakeholder understanding and adoption: Communicate how controls work and their impact in practice. Pay Range 73,465 - 82,648 CAD. The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
