Role Description The Senior Sales Operations Specialist plays a critical role in driving the efficiency, accuracy and scalability of our revenue engine. This position partners closely with Sales and Leadership to optimize processes and enhance data quality. This position will mentor junior team members, contribute to system enhancements and champion best practices that improve the overall sales experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong analytical and communication skills and is passionate about enabling teams to perform at their highest potential. - Oversee proposal, quote, and contract creation and workflows to ensure timely and accurate delivery - Maintain and optimize sales enablement tools, templates, and documentation - Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to align messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies - Lead training and mentorship to Sales Operations and Sales team members on tools and processes - Lead cross-departmental initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency and assist with investigating errors and other issues - Develop and maintain performance dashboards and tracking to measure sales/sales ops effectiveness - Identify process gaps and lead projects to implement scalable improvements - Act as a trusted liaison between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Client Success - Ensure seamless communication of contract, pricing, and proposal data across internal systems - Assist in bid responses and cooperative purchasing contracts - Support Sales Operations staff members to ensure all sales operations tasks are handled effectively - Ability to assist Director, as needed Qualifications - 4-6 years' experience in Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, or a related analytical role - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (Power BI preferred) - Bachelor's Degree in Business or Communications preferred, equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree - CRM, RFPIO and Connectwise experience a plus - RFP, RFI and bid experience a plus - Sales experience a plus - Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance detail orientation with strategic perspective - Exceptional communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences - Demonstrated leadership ability to manage complex projects and mentor junior team members - Highly organized, detail oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Business acumen with understanding of forecasting, revenue recognition, and pricing models - A solutions-oriented mindset, with a track record of driving initiatives that improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability Benefits - We really ARE more than a company! • Execute content and webinar-driven lead generation initiatives aligned to strategies and goals set by Marketing leadership • Support audience engagement efforts through the development and delivery of thought leadership content, educational materials, and digital campaigns • Execute quarterly and monthly content plans aligned to industry cycles, government trends, and organizational priorities • Conduct client interviews and develop compelling customer stories, case studies, and blog content to support campaigns and sales efforts • Monitor industry trends and regulatory or policy shifts and share insights to support content relevance and messaging effectiveness • Translate product capabilities into clear, outcome-focused messaging aligned with established solution positioning and frameworks • Execute go-to-market distribution activities (webinars, email campaigns, and digital campaigns) aligned to established strategies and priorities • Support the execution of quarterly and monthly campaign plans, incorporating performance insights and guidance from Marketing leadership • Coordinate and execute webinar campaigns, including logistics, content development, speaker coordination, and promotion • Develop and deliver webinar presentations, including live facilitation to support lead generation efforts • Write, build, and deploy promotional emails to support webinars, content releases, and campaigns • Apply established messaging to ensure consistency, relevance, and alignment across all promotional channels • Support ongoing campaign optimization by implementing adjustments based on performance insights and direction from Marketing leadership • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional inputs to support consistent execution of campaigns • Execute campaigns in alignment with defined lead generation goals, sales priorities, and broader campaign themes • Collaborate closely with Sales to support the execution of content and campaigns aligned with revenue goals and sales enablement needs • Partner with the Marketing Director and Solutions Marketing Manager to execute prioritized initiatives and support overall marketing plans • Monitor campaign and content performance and provide insights to support ongoing optimization and future planning
• Conduct a minimum of 10 sales meetings per week (remote or face-to-face), with new sales prospecting introductions or meetings throughout the week • Ensure that all sales and related activities are entered into CRM in a compliant manner • Consistently deliver accurate forecasting within a variance of 10% • Effectively demonstrate key products and solutions within 3 months of hire • Conduct weekly lead-sharing and customer strategy calls with key inside and field partners

What you'll do: Product Strategy & Vision Define and evolve multi-year product strategies aligned to MCCi’s growth objectives and GovTech market needs Develop and maintain outcome-driven roadmaps balancing innovation, technical debt, compliance, and customer commitments Identify market opportunities through competitive analysis, customer feedback, and regulatory trends Drive prioritization using business impact, risk mitigation, and customer value Delivery & Execution Translate strategy into clear PRDs, epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria Partner with Engineering and QA to plan releases, manage scope, and deliver high-quality software Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning inputs, and cross-team dependency management Ensure readiness for launches through documentation, training materials, and stakeholder communications Customer & Market Engagement Engage directly with customers, prospects, and internal teams to gather requirements and validate solutions Support Sales and Marketing with demos, roadmap briefings, RFP responses, and competitive positioning Represent MCCi in strategic customer conversations and executive-level discussions Translate regulatory or statutory changes into actionable product requirements Compliance, Security & Accessibility Partner with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure products meet frameworks such as SOC 2, CJIS, FedRAMP/GovRAMP, NIST, TX-RAMP, and WCAG/VPAT Drive audit remediation initiatives and security-driven enhancements Ensure data privacy, tenant isolation, and responsible AI practices are embedded in product design AI & Platform Innovation Lead initiatives involving AI-powered features, automation, analytics, and agent-based workflows Define governance, transparency, and risk-management approaches for AI capabilities Drive platform modernization efforts, integrations, and cloud-infrastructure improvements Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as a trusted partner across departments, aligning stakeholders around priorities and outcomes Facilitate executive updates, roadmap reviews, and release planning forums Mentor junior product managers and contribute to the maturity of MCCi’s product practice What you'll need to be successful: Required Qualifications 7+ years of product management experience in SaaS or enterprise software Proven success owning complex platforms with regulatory, security, or compliance requirements Strong experience writing PRDs, functional/non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and executive-level Data-driven decision maker comfortable balancing competing priorities Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Qualifications Experience in GovTech, public sector SaaS, or highly regulated industries Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, CJIS, FedRAMP, NIST, WCAG) Experience delivering AI-enabled or automation-driven products Background working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), APIs, and integrations Prior experience supporting enterprise sales cycles or RFP processes What you can expect from us: We really ARE more than a company!
