Role Description The Senior Manager of Pro Volleyball Operations will work closely with the Head of Volleyball Operations and the team Directors of Volleyball Operations (DOVOs) in performing a variety of tasks to support each individual LOVB team operationally and the league overall. This position will provide dedicated day-to-day support from an operational perspective - ensuring experience and budgetary considerations are paramount. This role will assist in leading the league volleyball operations. The Senior Manager will help enhance and establish consistent systems, vendor relationships, and operating procedures to support team needs, improve efficiency, and ensure timely response and processing in all areas of team operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Secure, communicate, and oversee end-to-end management of contracted LOVB sponsored vehicles for players and staff. - Assist in developing league-wide Volleyball Operations budgets by providing key insights, supporting spend management, and contributing to forecasting, tracking, and financial systems. - Enhance and execute Volleyball Operations staff onboarding processes across all teams. - Serve as additional liaison with LOVB Travel Provider and teams/staff. - Partner with team DOVOs to handle all aspects of ground transportation for team travel. - Maintain and establish vendor relationships at league level including but not limited to: travel, equipment, league partners, housing, vehicles. - Work closely with LOVB Payroll staff to process weekly per diem, reimbursements and wage allocations. - Serve as a liaison across LOVB departments, including Ticketing, Finance, Events, Recruiting, Experience, Community Relations, Partnerships, and Facilities. - Serve as the primary league operations contact for four LOVB teams, including participation in regular virtual staff meetings. - Develop and manage agendas and content for weekly league operations meetings. - Assist with activation and support at all tent pole events from preparation to post-event analysis. - Responsible for handling officiating staff travel and arrangements in close coordination with the Head of Rules and Officiating. - Assist with coordination and communication for player and coach arrivals to and departures from assigned pro city locations.
