Role Description The Senior Fuel Oils Analyst is responsible for owning and driving the quality, coverage, and development of Kpler’s dirty petroleum products (DPP) data (e.g. fuel oil, VGO, feedstocks, bitumen/asphalt) across key regions and flows. You will act as a data and market focal point, proactively identifying gaps, improving methodologies, and leading initiatives that enhance data quality and product value. This includes working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams, as well as mentoring more junior analysts. Your mission is to: - Own end-to-end data quality and coverage for assigned DPP markets, flows, and geographies - Lead complex data investigations, identify root causes of discrepancies, and implement structural fixes - Perform and oversee large-scale data validation, ingestion, and backtesting against external benchmarks - Act as a Data Ops focal point for DPP, working closely with Data Scraping, Product, and Engineering teams - Proactively identify gaps in data coverage and drive initiatives to improve granularity and accuracy - Leverage market knowledge to challenge data, make informed assumptions, and guide corrections - Contribute to cross-product alignment (Flows, Refineries, S&D, Freight), ensuring consistency and integrity - Lead or contribute to medium-to-high complexity data/product initiatives and improvements - Support and mentor junior analysts, raising overall team capability - Engage with commercial teams (Sales/CS) to translate client feedback into actionable improvements Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Energy, Data Science, or related field - Circa 5–8 years of experience in oil markets, with strong Crude or refined oil products exposure - Strong understanding of global trade flows, shipping, and refinery dynamics - Proven experience working with large, complex datasets and driving data quality improvements - Advanced data handling skills - Excel (Advanced), SQL (Intermediate), Python (Basic to intermediate) - Deep understanding of data flows, data processing, and validation methodologies - Strong data investigation and troubleshooting capabilities - Ability to translate market context into data driven decisions - Ability to operate autonomously and drive initiatives forward Requirements - Market knowledge of DPP flows, arbitrage, and infrastructure - Experience working with geospatial / satellite / vessel tracking data - Familiarity with data pipelines, scraping, or data architecture concepts Benefits We are a dynamic company dedicated to nurturing connections and innovating solutions to tackle market challenges head-on. Role Description Kpler is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to support the Legal, Risk & Compliance team in managing corporate governance and entity administration across its global footprint. This role is critical in ensuring that Kpler’s worldwide entities - primarily across Europe, with ongoing global expansion and frequent organisational and governance changes - remain compliant with local corporate requirements. The Corporate Paralegal will coordinate with external counsel, maintain accurate corporate records, and support the creation and ongoing management of legal entities worldwide. Responsibilities - Corporate governance & Entity management - Maintain and update corporate records for Kpler entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness across jurisdictions. - Track and manage corporate deadlines (e.g., annual filings, approvals, renewals) to ensure full compliance with local requirements. - Support the implementation and maintenance of Delegations of Authority (DoAs) across entities, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with internal policies. - External Counsel & Stakeholder Coordination - Act as a key point of contact with external legal advisors and corporate service providers across multiple jurisdictions. - Coordinate requests, follow-ups and documentation to ensure timely completion of corporate filings and updates. - Ensure accurate and timely communication of corporate information to internal stakeholders. - Entity Formation & Corporate Projects - Support the incorporation of new entities globally. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors on entity setup, structuring and documentation. - Assist with post-incorporation requirements, if needed (registrations, corporate documentation, etc.). - Corporate data management & DDQs - Maintain and own the corporate entity management tool (Klea), ensuring all entity data is accurate, up to date and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders. - Support the completion of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), with a focus on corporate structure, governance, and entity-related information. - Maintain internal trackers to monitor entity status, governance actions and documentation. - Act as a reliable source of truth for corporate data used in customer, partner and regulatory requests. - Support internal audits and due diligence processes by preparing and providing corporate documentation. - Process Improvement & Organisation - Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and reliability of corporate governance and entity management processes. - Contribute to the standardisation of templates, trackers, and workflows across jurisdictions. - Support the optimisation of tools and systems used for entity management and documentation. Qualifications - 2–4 years of experience as a corporate paralegal or in a similar role, in an international environment. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple entities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. - Experience with corporate governance and entity management across European jurisdictions; exposure to other regions is a plus. - Experience supporting DDQs or similar due diligence processes, particularly on corporate/legal information. - High level of attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong communication and follow-up skills with internal and external stakeholders. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Nice to have - Experience supporting international entity incorporations outside of Europe (e.g., US, LATAM, APAC). - Familiarity with corporate/entity management tools (experience with Klea is a strong plus). - Exposure to due diligence processes in a commercial or SaaS environment. Concurrently, they will build and manage a team of two additional copy editors distributed across global time zones to provide continuous editorial coverage. This role requires deep copy editing craft, confident editorial judgement, and the ability to work at high volume and pace.
