Legal Research - Conduct factual and legal research in legal and non-legal databases at attorney direction - Search legal databases, indices, and computerized reference systems for precedent and case law - Research statutes, regulations, legislation, court cases, and other legal authorities as directed - Conduct factual research on individuals, companies, witnesses, and case-related entities - Compile cited cases, opinions, statutes, references, and supporting materials for briefs - Provide organized research findings and case-related information to attorneys for criminal matters III. Discovery & Evidence Support - Organize evidence and discovery materials for production, investigations, hearings, and trial use - Prepare evidence summaries and summaries of witness interviews and meetings - Maintain paper and electronic evidence, discovery, correspondence, exhibits, and case files - Manage PDFs, images, audio, video, bank records, forensic reports, and other evidence files - Code, index, search, organize, and retrieve discovery using litigation support tools - Assist with document searches, first-level review, discovery organization, and production coordination - Prepare witness binders, exhibit materials, and case documents for investigations, hearings, and trials IV. Trial & Courtroom Support - Compile trial notebooks, jury instructions, witness lists, exhibit lists, and courtroom materials - Prepare trial exhibits, charts, graphs, timelines, visuals, and courtroom presentation materials - Provide automated litigation support for trial preparation, hearings, and courtroom presentations - Use litigation support software, scanners, plotters, and related tools to prepare case materials - Enlarge charts and photos, duplicate audio and video materials, and mark exhibits for trial use - Coordinate with Victim-Witness staff on victims’ rights, services issues, and related notifications V.
