• Own inbound renewal review conversations with existing policyholders, identifying opportunities to improve value and retain business. • Contact customers who have expressed interest in canceling coverage and conduct retention-focused consultations across multiple carrier options. • Perform coverage counseling and policy reviews to ensure customers understand their protection, pricing, and available alternatives. • Reshop policies with approved carrier partners to identify competitive coverage and pricing solutions. • Resolve customer questions, concerns, and service issues through phone and email interactions. • Create, update, and deliver policy options and documentation for customer review. • Navigate complex customer situations, de-escalate concerns, and identify solutions that balance customer needs with business objectives. • Maintain accurate records, follow-up activities, and policy documentation in applicable systems. • Leverage available tools, resources, and carrier relationships to maximize retention outcomes. • Contribute to the improvement of forms, procedures, training materials, and operational processes when opportunities arise.

• Define and drive the long-term platform strategy for policy administration, billing, and payment systems, translating business goals into a clear, sequenced roadmap • Serve as the platform's primary product voice with engineering, architecture, and senior leadership; align stakeholders on priorities and trade-offs with clarity and confidence • Lead discovery on complex, ambiguous platform problems — defining the right problem before the solution, grounding every decision in data, user research, and business impact • Own the platform's API strategy, ensuring internal and external consumers have reliable, well-documented, and versioned interfaces that let the business move fast without breaking things • Drive solutions from early prototype to full production rollout in close partnership with data, design, and engineering • Write crisp, comprehensive product specs and user stories that give engineering teams the context and clarity they need to build with confidence • Define, own, and evangelize platform success metrics; use data to drive continuous improvement and communicate impact across the business • Mentor and elevate other product managers on the team, modeling rigor, intellectual curiosity, and collaborative leadership • Manage key vendor relationships — particularly across payment processors and third-party policy administration systems — ensuring contracts and integrations serve long-term platform goals

• Examining and appropriately interpreting insureds’ policies, forms in force, and other records to determine coverage and extent of the company’s exposure and policy limitations • Applying knowledge of multiple state statutes, including the insurance code of ethics, rules, regulations, and guidelines • Desk reviewing, drafting, adjusting, and approving estimates of damage and loss amounts for structural damages, mitigation, remediation, etc • Using varying methods of investigation, including taking recorded statements, consulting with experts, identifying property damage, and reviewing documentation • Keeping active communication and working with customers, their representatives, contractors, and experts throughout the Claims process from first notice of the claim through repair completion • Working with public adjusters and attorneys that may represent the insured(s) and responding to all notices and letters in accordance with state guidelines
