• Review and analyze client tax and revenue data to prepare accurate returns. • Prepare supporting workpapers and reconcile client ledgers to imported tax data. • Facilitate and process state and local tax filings—both paper and online—and ensure timely payments. • Communicate with clients throughout the tax preparation process and act as a client representative with applicable agencies as needed. • Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and referrals. • Process business renewal applications and exemption certifications.
• Provide essential Tier 1 support to customers in a professional and customary manner. • Answer inbound tech support calls and make outbound calls to customers as needed. • Thoroughly troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve customers’ peripheral related problems. • Keep detailed notes of all work performed on customers’ peripherals. • Manage and monitor the ticketing queue ensuring that all customer support requests are handled in a quick, thorough, and efficient manner. • Maintain 90% QA (quality assurance) ratings. • Work on other ongoing and short-term projects as outlined by management.
• Coordinate permitting activities across multiple active projects, ensuring adherence to permit schedules and timely submission of complete permit packages. • Track permit status, supplemental information, approvals, and as-built staking sheet submissions while maintaining accurate permitting records and documentation. • Serve as the primary point of contact with municipal, county, and state agencies regarding permit applications, inquiries, and compliance requirements. • Monitor regulatory changes and collaborate with project engineers, designers, and internal teams to resolve permit-related issues and minimize project delays. • Maintain organized digital and physical permitting files and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible. • Provide regular permit status updates to project managers and leadership, identifying potential risks and recommending solutions to keep projects on schedule.

• Define and execute JSI’s Smart Grid consulting strategy targeting EMCs and municipal utilities. • Develop service offerings spanning grid modernization, operational efficiency, technology strategy, and business case development. • Align Smart Grid initiatives with JSI’s broader broadband, fiber, and digital infrastructure practices. • Support executive leadership in identifying new market opportunities across energy and telecom convergence. • Partner with the sales and strategy departments to develop and execute go-to-market strategies targeting grid modernization, operational transformation, and technology strategy. • Activate and expand industry relationships to generate new client engagements and expand JSI’s footprint in energy and infrastructure markets. • Represent JSI at national conferences, cooperative associations, and thought leadership forums. • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership at electric cooperatives and municipal utilities. • Lead client discovery workshops, strategic planning engagements, and modernization assessments. • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, partnerships, and long-term consulting relationships. • Collaborate with JSI Sales & Marketing to position Smart Grid offerings within target markets. • Lead multi-disciplinary consulting engagements including: Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), SCADA and distribution automation, Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS), grid communications and fiber integration, operational efficiency and organizational transformation, funding initiatives, provide guidance on technology selection, vendor evaluation, and implementation roadmaps, support development of financial models and business cases for modernization initiatives. • Build internal capabilities, frameworks, and methodologies for electric utility consulting. • Collaborate across JSI teams including Engineering, Financial Services, Operations Consulting, and Regulatory. • Mentor internal staff and help develop subject matter expertise within the organization. • Contribute to thought leadership, conference speaking, and industry publications. • Moderate to significant travel (30–50%) to client sites, industry events, and JSI offices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned telecommunications clients regarding regulatory reporting. • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary reporting information and ensure timely submissions. • Analyze financial and operational data to prepare and submit compliance filings to the FCC, PUCs, and other regulatory agencies. • Maintain strong knowledge of industry regulatory changes and apply updates to compliance processes.
• Process and analyze LiDAR point cloud data for accuracy and consistency, utilizing advanced software tools to generate high-quality maps and models to support broadband network design in rural and hard-to-reach areas. • Develop terrain and surface models (DTM/DSM) and perform line-of-sight and obstruction analysis to inform fiber routing, infrastructure placement, and fixed wireless deployments. • Address and resolve technical issues related to LiDAR hardware and software to ensure smooth operation during data collection and processing. • Support make-ready engineering by identifying vegetation, pole conditions, and potential conflicts, generating detailed reports and visualizations from LiDAR data for presentation to project teams. • Collaborate with engineering, GIS, and regulatory teams to meet BEAD program requirements and timelines, producing geospatial mapping and documentation to support funding applications, compliance reporting, and audits. • Conduct occasional field surveys to collect supplementary geospatial data.

• Proactive Monitoring: actively monitor customer network infrastructure using established NMS tools to identify and resolve issues before they impact service. • Incident Management: Create, work, and resolve trouble tickets for network and server issues with a high degree of accuracy. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve Layer 1-3 network issues independently, utilizing logical troubleshooting methodologies. • Scheduled Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance, software upgrades, and patch management on customer network equipment during low-traffic maintenance windows. • Documentation & Handoff: Document and diagram networks, relevant processes, and troubleshooting steps. Ensure clear and detailed shift handoffs to incoming/outgoing teams to maintain operational continuity. • Escalation: Properly identify and escalate complex incidents to appropriate Tier 2/3 resources or vendors when necessary. • Communication: Communicate technical concepts in a clear, understandable manner to customers and internal stakeholders. • Knowledge Base: Contribute to the team knowledge base by creating solutions for common issues. • On-Call: Participate in an on-call rotation as required. • Schedule: Anticipated schedule is 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM Central Time and will include weekends.**o Note: Schedules are subject to change based on business needs. • Training: Initial training hours may vary and could require availability during standard business hours before transitioning to the 2nd shift schedule.
