Role Description We are seeking a talented Network Engineer IV to join our engineering team. This role is vital for the design, integration, and maintenance of advanced tactical and strategic communication networks within the military framework. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in network engineering and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Network Design & Installation: Design, plan, install, integrate, and maintain backbone core-area tactical and strategic communications networks, including elements of the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) and the Global Information Grid (GIG). - Requirements Analysis: Gather requirements from users, Operational Need Statements, and Capability Production Documents (CPD) for Army tactical communications systems, translating them into cost-efficient, standards-based technical solutions. - Architecture Development: Develop network architectures for adjacent, higher, and lower units, including interfaces with allied nations, other government agencies, and commercial service providers. - Engineering & Integration: Lead the engineering design, development, integration, installation, operation, and maintenance of tactical networks. Provide support for integrating Data/Voice/Video/Telephony within the Tactical Network. - Documentation & Reporting: Prepare engineering documentation, assist in the development of technical requirements, specifications, plans, and reports. Conduct independent assessments and provide systems engineering support. - Technical Support: Offer technical support in PM TN equipment labs, develop equipment and network configurations, and facilitate technology insertion testing relevant to emerging PM TN Networks requirements and capabilities. - Virtualization & Storage Technologies: Utilize knowledge of virtualization and storage technologies, including VMware, EMC, NetApp, Microsoft, Dell, and HP. - Cisco Systems Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency with Cisco IOS and NXOS, Cisco ISE, Cisco UCS Networking and Configuration, and Cisco ASA. Utilize routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, RIP, and EIGRP, and possess experience with multicast, LANs, and VLANs. - VOIP & Protocol Analysis: Serve as a subject matter expert in VOIP, Cisco Call Manager, Call Manager Express, and Redcom Sigma Core. Conduct network protocol analysis using tools like Sniffer, Wireshark, or similar applications. - Field Support & Collaboration: Provide technical expertise at field locations as required and ensure effective collaboration with other teams and stakeholders. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Testing, or a related field. - 8+ years of tactical network engineering experience in a military or similar environment. - Proven expertise in network design, integration, and troubleshooting. - Technical certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP or similar) are preferred. Requirements - Active Secret clearance. - Strong understanding of current and future tactical and strategic military communications networks, including architecture, protocols, security, network management, and physics. - Familiarity with Army Software Baselines and Architectures, and experience working with Microsoft and Active Directory. - Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues and provide effective technical solutions. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Conduct accounting and budget analysis for both Career Training Continuum (CTC) and the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE) • Perform financial forecasting, and annual business plan • Seek and perform guidance from BUPERS, NAVSUP, NAVSEA, NETC, and CSFE Comptroller to provide fiscal/COR guidance to CSFE domain on the CTC program • Receive, validate, allocate, and manage reimbursable funds from interservice agencies • Perform the transferring and liquidating expense (invoice) from document to another (SABRS/ERP) • Review, authorize, and forward Purchase Requests (PRs) • Create Validation of Transactions MP/WR/RC/TG in ERP and submit for Review/Approval • Review Defense Travel System (DTS) travel vouchers and official reimbursements • Review WAWF invoices against contracting obligating documents (1155) RRL domain-wide • Provide financial briefings to both CECOS and CSFE Comptroller • Generate, adjudicate, and validate mid-year CTC Reports • Create and distribute bi-weekly fund status reports to directors and leadership from local spreadsheets based on SABERS/ERP data

• Responsible for analysis and report development to support training and manpower requirements • Provide training in structured and effective writing techniques for course writers • Coordinate and plan professional development workshops in support of CSFE mission • Conduct performance analysis and training needs assessments to identify critical performance gaps • Create original course and testing material through SME consultation and technical publication research

• Perform the role of Lead SSA Engineer for the TraCSS System Integration and Cloud Management (SI/CM) team • Provide expert knowledge and experience in the space situational awareness domain to the TraCSS SI/CM team • Understand the various standard types and formats of data related to satellite ephemerides and meta-data and processes around orbital determination • Understand astrodynamics, conjunction analysis and risk assessment, trajectory planning and optimization • Be familiar with the operational environment for TraCSS or similar operational SSA systems

• Perform the role of Lead Engineer/Scrum Master for the TraCSS System Integration and Cloud Management (SI/CM) team • Provide expert knowledge of and experience with Agile development scrum methodology • Collaborate with the product manager to determine goals and priorities for spring planning, grooming and product release • Manage and motivate teams to achieve mature sprints with on-time delivery and appropriate documentation and reporting

• Lead the TraCSS System Integration and Cloud Management (SI/CM) team • Have overall responsibility for the Agile development process • Coordinate with the government customer • Provide management and leadership for the TraCSS SI/CM team • Provide knowledge in applications of Agile development, including Scrum methodology • Apply and use metrics appropriate to Agile development to projects and tasks

Position: Data Visualization Developer Location: U.S. Army Joint Modernization Command (JMC), Fort Bliss, TX, or work remotely near Ft. Eustis, VA. Key Responsibilities: - Dashboard Development: Working hand-in-hand with JMC staff sections and command group, build visualizations using Vantage, Power BI, Excel, Python, or R to support Army assessments and decision forums. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field. Equivalent experience may substitute. - Clearance: Active Secret clearance required. - Experience: - 3+ years in Vantage, Power BI, data visualization, or dashboard development. - Proven ability to deliver polished, executive-ready dashboards and reports. - Experience supporting exercises, assessments, or After-Action Reviews preferred. - Familiarity with Army operational data and planning cycles a plus. - Skills: - Strong visual design and data storytelling skills. - Ability to translate technical data into clear products for senior leaders. - Knowledge of quantitative/qualitative visualization and UX patterns. - Proficient in Vantage, Power BI; exposure to R, Python, or other visualization tools a plus. JANUS Research is hiring a Part-Time-On-Call (PTOC) Future Warfare Military Analyst position supporting the Army Wargaming Branch of Army Futures Command, Futures and Concept Center, Future Warfare Division (FWD). Analysts participate in FWD’s Future Study Program (FSP) events throughout the study year conducting collection and analysis of observations for an operational level wargame set in 2040. Candidate MUST be able to support our upcoming Wargaming event at the Army War College from 26 April 2026 - 15 May 2026. Analyst support will vary based on event design and includes: - Quantitative / qualitative analysis and visualization. - Understanding of FSP learning demands as approved by FWD leadership. - Execution of the analytical collection plan to collect information pertaining to learning demands and EEAs. - Research to address specific leadership questions and directives. - Coordination with FSP event facilitators and focus group/work group leads to develop methods to address areas of analysis. - Development of key quantitative and qualitative analytical insights and themes. - Train with the model and/or simulations used in support of an FWD event. Qualifications - Experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research methods across a variety of categories and methodologies (e.g., experimentation, grounded theory, interviews, surveys, focus groups, codesign, concept testing). - Experience in conducting data analysis; identifying data sources, collecting data, analyzing data, interpreting data, and extracting data for visualization and reports. - Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills. - Preferred experience working with senior General Officer (GO)/Flag Officer (FO) / Senior Executive Service (SES) officials. - Preferred experience in Army and/or Joint war gaming.
