Forward Deployed Engineer - Healthcare AI
IdovenAt Idoven, we believe in hiring top talented people like you - ambitious, forward thinkers who want to make a difference in the world and have an impact. Diversity & Inclusion: At Idoven, we believe diverse teams build better products. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender identity, age, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.
Role Description A Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Idoven is a rare combination: a technically strong engineer who thrives at the intersection of tech and client. You will be embedded — sometimes literally — in our most critical client accounts, helping them integrate, configure, and scale Idoven's AI platform within their own infrastructure and clinical workflows. This is not a support role. You will be a technical advisor, integration partner, and trusted problem-solver for clients like global medtech companies and pharma running large-scale clinical programs. You will work directly with client engineering and clinical teams, attend key meetings, and make implementation decisions on the ground — then bring those learnings back to shape Idoven's product and roadmap. What You'll Do - Lead technical integration projects with strategic clients: understand their infrastructure, design integration architectures, and drive implementations to completion. - Customize and configure Idoven's platform for client-specific clinical use cases and deployment environments. - Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in live client environments — sometimes under time pressure. - Attend client meetings alongside commercial and clinical teams; provide technical credibility and translate AI capabilities into clinical and business value. - Build integration documentation, technical runbooks, and reusable assets that enable clients to scale without constant Idoven involvement. - Act as a feedback loop: surface product gaps, integration challenges, and technical debt back to Idoven's engineering and product teams. - Collaborate with the solutions engineering and clinical teams to improve the platform's scalability and configurability. Qualifications - +5 years of a mix of solutions engineering experience and client facing roles in Medtech, with a track record of delivering in client-facing or production environments. - Comfortable working directly with clients: able to lead, present, explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and build trust quickly. - Curiosity and fluency in the healthcare or clinical domain — you don't need to be a cardiologist, but you need to understand what a hospital's IT team is dealing with and why it matters clinically. - Solid technical skills: Python and/or backend development, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines. - Autonomous problem-solver: when something breaks in a client environment, you own it until it's fixed. - Fluency in Spanish and English. - Background in healthcare AI, digital health, or SaMD required. Requirements - Experience at a company with a forward deployed, solutions, or professional services model (e.g., Palantir, Salesforce, or similar). - Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, DICOM, or healthcare interoperability standards. - Experience working with ECG, cardiac monitoring, or clinical trial data platforms. - Exposure to clinical or regulatory environments (CE marking, FDA, MDR). Benefits - 🚀 Be part of one of the most disruptive startups in HealthTech and AI and make a difference. - 🏆 Personal and professional growth as part of a fast-growing, international team. - 🎧 No corners cut in having the best tech equipment to do your job. - 🙋 Unlimited remote working environment, where you can choose to work from home and attend our Madrid office whenever you want to. - 📚 Learning and development opportunities and training budget. - 💸 Flexible Remuneration. - 👩🏻⚕️ Health Insurance covered by IDOVEN. - 🏋 Access to Wellhub (Gympass), empowering your physical and mental wellness! - 🖥️ Remote Work Allowance for your home office setup! - 🌴 23 holidays, your birthday off, and December 24th and 31st half days to celebrate! - 😎 Regular team events and Thursday happy hours. - And much more! Company Description At Idoven, we believe in hiring top talented people like you - ambitious, forward thinkers who want to make a difference in the world and have an impact. Account Manager - Healthcare AI
Role Description As an Account Manager at Idoven, you will own the post-sale relationship with our strategic clients — including pharma companies running clinical studies and medtech partners deploying our platform across hospital networks. Your goal is not to attend endless meetings; it is to make our clients self-sufficient, commercially successful, and deeply loyal. Concretely, this means you will train and enable client sales forces so they can drive adoption within their own hospital networks, rather than Idoven doing it for them. You will be the trusted interface between Idoven and the client's commercial and clinical teams — understanding their business deeply and translating it into product priorities and success plans. What You'll Do - Own a portfolio of strategic accounts: track health, commercial progress, and renewal risk proactively. - Train and enable client-side sales and clinical teams so they can independently promote and expand Idoven's platform within their organizations. - Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders at the client (commercial leads, medical affairs, IT, procurement). - Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and coordinate with the commercial team on upsell and cross-sell. - Act as the voice of the customer internally: collect structured feedback and translate it into product requirements and priorities. - Manage onboarding, go-live support, and ongoing success milestones for each account. - Contribute to building scalable customer success processes, playbooks, and training materials. Qualifications - +5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a commercial role within healthcare, pharma, medtech, or health AI. - Strong understanding of clinical workflows, hospital operations, or pharma commercial structures — you need to speak the language of our clients. - Commercial drive: you understand that success is measured in renewal, expansion, and client NPS — not in hours spent on calls. - Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to engage both clinical stakeholders and C-suite audiences. - Autonomous, proactive, and structured — you manage your accounts with ownership and urgency. - Fluency in Spanish and English. - Background in or exposure to healthcare AI, SaMD, or digital health strongly preferred. Requirements - Experience enabling or training partner/client sales teams in a B2B healthcare context (nice to have). - Familiarity with ECG, cardiac imaging, or clinical trial data management (nice to have). - Experience at a scale-up or growth-stage healthtech company (nice to have). Requirements - Prior experience selling AI-enabled imaging, echocardiography, radiology AI, or ECG solutions to pharma or health systems. - Experience in an early/growth-stage company where you built commercial processes from scratch. - Network within cardiovascular pharma or clinical research organizations (CROs).
