Job Description
VP of Commercial
Idoven
Role Description With our commercial team evolving and new strategic priorities in place, we are searching for a VP of Commercial to own and drive enterprise revenue. This is not a managerial build-out role — it is a high-impact individual contributor position where you will personally close strategic deals with global pharma and SaMD (Software as a Medical Device) companies, working hand-in-hand with the COO, CEO and leadership team. You will own the full commercial cycle for Idoven's most strategic accounts: - Building relationships at the global decision-maker level. - Structuring complex multi-year agreements. - Flying to the client site, sitting at the table, and closing deals. What You'll Do: - Own and drive the enterprise sales pipeline with a focus on global pharma (Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, Novartis, BMS, and peers) and medtech companies such as GE HealthCare. - Close strategic deals in the €500k–€2M+ range, leveraging established relationships and building new ones at the global and MEA budget level. - Develop and execute a commercial strategy aligned with Idoven's product roadmap and go-to-market vision. - Work directly with the COO & CEO to co-develop account strategies, structure deal terms, and lead key negotiations. - Qualify and refine inbound leads generated by the marketing team, converting them into closed revenue. - Represent Idoven at key industry conferences, advisory boards, and pharma innovation forums. - As the team grows, contribute to building and mentoring a high-performing commercial team. Qualifications - 10+ years of MedTech business development experience. - Proven track record closing enterprise deals (€500k+) with global pharma or medtech companies. - Deep familiarity with the pharma and/or medical device commercial landscape; experience in cardiac, imaging, or AI-enabled diagnostics is a strong plus. - Existing network at the global level within pharma (medical affairs, R&D, digital health, procurement). - Experience navigating global budget structures (MEA, global digital health envelopes) and multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles. - Comfortable as an individual contributor in a lean, fast-moving environment; this role requires grit, autonomy, and a founder mindset. - Full professional fluency in Spanish and English. - Background in healthcare AI, SaMD, digital health, or a closely adjacent field. Requirements - Prior experience selling AI-enabled imaging, echocardiography, radiology AI, or ECG solutions to pharma or health systems. - Experience in an early/growth-stage company where you built commercial processes from scratch. - Network within cardiovascular pharma or clinical research organizations (CROs). Benefits - 🚀 Be part of one of the most disruptive startups in HealthTech and AI and make a difference. - 🏆 Personal and professional growth as part of a fast-growing, international team. - 🎧 No corners cut in having the best tech equipment to do your job. - 🙋 Unlimited remote working environment, where you can choose to work from home and attend our Madrid office whenever you want to. - 📚 Learning and development opportunities and training budget. - 💸 Flexible Remuneration. - 👩🏻⚕️ Health Insurance covered by IDOVEN. - 🏋 Access to Wellhub (Gympass), empowering your physical and mental wellness! - 🖥️ Remote Work Allowance for your home office setup! - 🌴 23 holidays, your birthday off, and December 24th and 31st half days to celebrate! - 😎 Regular team events and Thursday happy hours. - And much more!
