Role Description The Office of Communications Digital Brand Manager remote position is responsible for protecting, enhancing, and actively managing High Point University’s digital reputation across all online platforms. This position oversees the strategy, execution, and daily operations of the university’s digital brand presence, ensuring that all external-facing content and interactions reflect the institution’s values, voice, and commitment to excellence in customer service. - Manages a team that monitors and engages across platforms including but not limited to news media, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, Wikipedia, and Google Reviews. - Leads the development and execution of timely, professional, and brand-aligned responses to online commentary, reviews, and inquiries, ensuring consistent and high-quality digital experience. - Supervises the Digital Brand Specialist and Digital Concierge, as well as graduate student staff who support extended-hour coverage. - Provides active monitoring and engagement seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., including oversight of customer service interactions within the university’s parent Facebook group. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required (Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field preferred). - Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in digital communications, brand management, public relations, or social media strategy. - Demonstrated experience managing online reputation, customer engagement, or crisis communication in a digital environment. - Experience supervising staff and coordinating team workflows preferred. - Experience writing and editing for digital platforms, including public-facing responses. Requirements - Strong understanding of digital brand management and online reputation strategies. - Deep familiarity with major social and content platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, Wikipedia, Google Reviews). - Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor tone for customer service, PR response, and brand voice. - Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in real time. - Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or high-visibility communications. - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. - Strong leadership and team management skills, including scheduling and performance oversight. - Data-informed mindset with ability to analyze trends and adjust strategies accordingly. - Ability to collaborate across departments and maintain strong campus relationships. Job Title: Game Designer for Dentistry Game Department: School of Communication Supervisor: Kristina Bell, Brian Heagney, & Michelle Devlin Starting Rate of Pay:$10.00 Length of Time: Eligible for rehire on a semester basis. Department Description: Game Design and the Workman School of Dental Medicine are launching a multi-year, funded initiative to build an original educational game platform for graduate healthcare education. We will design and prototype an interactive, multiplayer learning platform to support dental students in clinical preparedness, adaptive learning, and case-based decision-making. Job Description: Summer 2026 students will work on: - Game Design Document (GDD) development - Interactive quizzes and mini-games - Collaborative/competitive challenges - Early concept prototypes Paid summer position with interdisciplinary collaboration. Commitment - Summer 2026 (8 weeks) - 10–20 hours/week - Virtual meetings required Job Location/ Hours Required: The candidate will perform most/all job duties virtually. Responsibilities: - Translate learning objectives into gameplay mechanics (with faculty and student teammates). - Draft and update GDD sections (core loop, progression, rules, UX flow, quiz/assessment integration). - Prototype, playtest, and iterate on quizzes, mini-games, and challenges. - Define visual direction and collaborate on concept art; refine based on stakeholder feedback. Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled student (undergraduate or graduate) in Game Design or related field. - Strong writing skills; can document design decisions clearly. - Demonstrated game design work (portfolio, class projects, or equivalent experience). - Reliable, deadline-oriented, and comfortable with virtual collaboration. Desired Skills: - GDDs, systems design, character design, and/or level design experience. - Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Miro, Twine) and/or engines (e.g., Godot, Unreal). - Interest in educational games and working with healthcare/dentistry subject-matter experts.

You will be trained to contact and connect with prospective students and families to build relationships during the recruitment cycle. You will assist the Undergraduate Admissions Office in delivering key messaging and student connections throughout the summer that helps in the recruitment of students and families to High Point University. Job Location/ Hours Required The candidate will perform all job duties through the summer virtually from their place of residence. Hours may vary depending on the job requirements; however, student employees may not exceed 25 hours per week. This position requires up to 8 hours per week. High Point University Undergraduate Admissions Senior Regional Admissions Counselor serves as a key member of the Undergraduate Admissions team in a remote capacity, responsible for developing and executing a strategic recruitment plan within an assigned geographic territory. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and enrolling academically qualified students while representing the university’s mission and value. This position requires a high level of autonomy, relationship-building, and data-informed decision-making to effectively manage a remote recruitment territory. The counselor will serve as the primary ambassador for the institution within their region, cultivating strong partnerships with students, families, and school counselors.
