Responsibilities A day in the life of a Director of Clinic Management at Hackensack Meridian Health includes: - Operationally oversee the clinics that formulate HMH`s Occupational Health Network, with support from the operational support team, optimize clinic staffing levels and make other resource allocation decisions as relevant - Provide guidance in resolving operational issues to ensure quality care, compliance with regulatory agencies and business continuance - Develop, review, and update processes, policies, procedures, training and evaluation metrics that help support efficient clinic workflows, productivity, quality improvement and customer service. Ensure standardization across the HMH network. - Maintain current knowledge of laws and regulations affecting clinic operations and specific TM roles and responsibilities. Monitor and ensure OH Clinics achieve OHST compliance including standardization of operating procedures for all aspects of OH services with a focus on regulatory requirements and process efficiency. Key areas include: OSHA, NJDOHSS, CDC and TJC compliance regarding safety and infection control, customer business planning, customer satisfaction and industry benchmarks. - Develop, implement and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress and obstacles for Occupational Health key initiatives - Supervise team of case managers. Ensure that long-term cases are handled appropriately to facilitate patient recovery, identify appropriate workplace accommodations needed, and ensure efficient treatment times. Ensure case managers communicate with the risk management division of HMH and appropriate client departments as needed. - Oversees the efforts to improve processes and care delivery as part of the Reimagining HMH work. - Works closely with the Dir, of External Occupational Health to inform strategies for external growth, ensuring services are meeting the needs of the clients. - Works closely with the Chairperson of Occupational Health and Leader of Environmental Health and Safety to ensure synergy amongst all constituents. - Coordinate with Dir, Internal Occupational Health to provide non-clinic based Occupational Health services to HMH, as needed - Collaborate with Directors of Internal OH and External OH to ensure that policies and requirements of all clients are being met - Monitor key performance metrics, and modify staffing, resource allocation, activities, and policies appropriately.
