The Donor Relations Coordinator manages key donor communication projects and assists with donor relations activities within Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation's network Donor Relations department, which provides stewardship support to all hospital foundations and entities tasked with fundraising for Hackensack Meridian Health. Reporting to the Director of Donor Relations, and also working in close collaboration with the Executive Director of Donor Relations, this position provides essential support to the Donor Relations department, helping to build and maintain a comprehensive stewardship program that improves donor retention and fosters trust and loyalty among our donors. This position will include a combination of remote and on-site work. Responsibilities A day in the life of a Donor Relations Coordinator at Hackensack Meridian Health includes: - Assists in the creation and operation of donor relations communications, which may include: first time/new donor communications, birthday cards, hand-written thank you notes, tribute gift lists, impact reports, special communications, and other mailings. - Assists in the development and operation of various tracking procedures, which may include: acknowledgements, actions, recognition, reporting and other needs. - Assists in donor recognition projects, which may include: recognition inventory, updating annual donor walls, reviewing donor listings, preparing individual plaque proofs and working with recognition vendors and site teams to help coordinate installations. - Assists with special donor touches, which may include: photobooks, videos, gift baskets, custom gifts, etc. - Assists with proofing and review of donor relations communication and content, including design and layout for in-house communications. - Administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering the phone, scheduling meetings, maintaining spreadsheets and running reports. - Other duties and/or projects as assigned. - Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior. Qualifications Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: - Bachelor's Degree in related field from four-year university or college. - Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience. - Excellent written and oral communication and time management skills. - Must be proficient in Google Suite Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: - Fundraising and/or nonprofit experience preferred - Experience in a healthcare setting at a large multi-hospital system. - Experience working with Raisers' Edge and RE NXT. - Experience with graphic design for creating presentations and internal communications. Compensation Minimum rate of $26.71 Hourly HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
