Role Description At Frontline Insurance, we are on a mission to Make Things Better, and our TN Personal Lines Underwriter plays a pivotal role in achieving this vision. We strive to provide high quality service and proactive solutions to all our customers to ensure that we are making things better for each one. What you can expect as a TN Personal Lines Underwriter: - Orders and reviews reports necessary for proper risk classification. Makes related policy changes, as necessary. - Handles policy change requests: evaluates underwriting considerations, processes data entry, and executes follow-up action as needed. - Reviews property inspections for new business and/or renewals for property or liability concerns. Recommends action and notifies agency partners, as necessary. - Answers telephone inquiries from agency partners and insureds, providing requested billing and basic coverage information, and resolving problems as needed. - Assists in reviewing renewal policies with Consent to Rate or high value coverage for accuracy. Evaluating & determining if additional Consent to Rate is required, and executing follow-up action as needed. May also include reviewing requests for reinstatement and relief in premium issues from our agency partners. - Provide assistance to the underwriting assistants when help is requested and provides viable solutions to their inquiries. - Evaluates new business submissions for eligibility and proper classification. Initiates communication with agents regarding missing information, eligibility, or rating concerns, etc. Qualifications - Any undergraduate education preferred. - Minimum 2 years’ experience and/or training in P&C Insurance or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Must reside in Tennessee. - An insurance related designation or license for Property and Casualty Insurance is preferred. Role Description At Frontline Insurance, we are on a mission to Make Things Better, and our Catastrophe Field Adjuster plays a pivotal role in achieving this vision. What you can expect as a Catastrophe Field Adjuster: - Handle the adjusting of the entire claim without the involvement of a Desk Adjuster. - Contact insured(s) to schedule inspection of damaged property, travel to affected property, and conduct such inspections in a timely manner. - Photograph, sketch and scope all damages. - Compose claims correspondence. - Keep insured(s) informed on the claims investigation. - Determine the method and extent of investigation for each claim. - Review and analyze all investigative and claim material to determine the facts of the loss. - Interview insured(s) and witnesses to obtain loss facts. - Document all investigative actions in the claim file. - Analyze the policy to determine the coverage for the loss. - Determine the total value of the claim. - Respond to all questions in a timely manner. - Utilize several software programs throughout the day to determine the parameters of the loss. - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to resolve various claims related issues as they arise. - Maintain compliance with quality standards and state regulations. - Assist with catastrophe operations as required. - Additional duties may arise as the candidate progresses. Qualifications - A four year college degree is preferred. - Prior insurance experience with an insurance carrier or agency. What you can expect as a Commercial Underwriting Support Specialist: - Effectively communicate with agency partners, policyholders, loss payees, and mortgagees via phone and email, providing accurate billing details and basic coverage information. - Conduct outbound calls to agency partners as needed. - Manage incoming calls, addressing customer service and billing inquiries with professionalism. - Perform data entry, initial analysis, and account setup for new submissions. - Process high-volume, time-sensitive transactions such as mortgage updates, mailing address changes, and other simple endorsements with speed and accuracy. - Handle loss run requests for agency partners efficiently. - Process returned mail according to established guidelines, which includes sending notifications to agencies and updating policy records as needed. - Review renewal documents, such as Acord Applications, TRIA Forms, and Diligent Effort Forms, ensuring completeness and accuracy. - Send, receive, and process notifications from agency partners promptly. - Link documents to policies and identify document types for streamlined workflow management. - Perform other job-related tasks as required. Qualifications - High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with college degree preferred. - Minimum 2 years experience and/or training in P&C Insurance desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
