Product Owner, Accounting Stack – Entire Business Suite

• Define the strategy and own the connectivity layer to the accounting and ERP systems our customers' accountants use. QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, etc. • Build expense management that works for owners and the accountants reconciling on their behalf. Receipt capture, GL coding, approval workflows, integration into the accounting tools without requiring manual reconciliation downstream. • Own bill pay and AR/AP. The workflow from invoice received to vendor paid, from invoice sent to customer paid, with full reconciliation back to the accounting system. • Build the invoicing product. We do not have a real invoicing offering today and customers are starting to ask. Decide what shape it takes and ship it. • Architect the connection between business financial data and personal financial data. This is the wedge no other fintech has. Make the integrated owner life real in product so the accountant can deliver it cleanly. • Partner closely with the Banking, Credit, Cards, and Payments product owners so financial flows tie out cleanly across the stack. No seams. No reconciliation tax for the accountant or the customer. • Translate the controller, CFO, and CPA persona for the rest of the company. We need someone who speaks both owner and accountant fluently. And can translate it to the owner mindset.
• Own every layer of Flex's card programs: ledger, processing, servicing, fulfillment, BIN sponsor management, network relationships. • Lead processor strategy and the direct network relationship. Hold vendors accountable. Drive the technical and commercial negotiations. • Build the operational infrastructure that supports five concurrent card programs across credit, stablecoin, and rewards. • Architect the path to scale the portfolio by more than 20x. Build the operating model that makes that scale possible without breaking customer experience. • Recruit the next layer of the card programs team as the function grows. You will tell us who we need to hire and when. • Translate the technical complexity of card issuing into clear product decisions for the rest of the company. We have struggled to communicate the now program, the transition, and the future program. Fixing that is part of your job.
• Own major Tier 1 bank partner implementations and the broader bank partner strategy. • Architect the multi-provider payments stack across acquiring, international money movement, and partner banks. • Lead vendor selection across new payment rails as Flex scales domestically and internationally. • Partner to deliver our MTL acquisition process. • Own the product implications of the partner-licensed-to-directly-licensed transition. • Build the framework for international money movement across multiple corridors. • Represent Flex in technical and commercial negotiations with the largest financial institutions in the world. • Partner with engineering on the implementation cadence.
• Review and disposition transaction monitoring alerts, applying BSA/AML typologies to distinguish suspicious activity from false positives • Draft clear, well-supported case narratives and escalate higher-risk activity for supervisory review • Conduct KYC reviews for new and existing customers, verifying identity documents and assessing risk profiles • Identify customers that warrant enhanced due diligence (EDD) and flag for escalation • Maintain accurate, complete records in our case management system • Assist with periodic quality assurance and file reviews, including for our bank partner program • Help identify patterns or process gaps that could improve detection coverage or review efficiency • Participate in team training and stay current on evolving AML typologies and regulatory guidance
• Own full-cycle recruiting for software engineering, infrastructure, data, security, and technical leadership roles • Partner with hiring managers to define role scope, seniority, success profiles, and evaluation criteria before a search kicks off • Build and execute outbound sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, Stackoverflow, referrals, networks, and targeted research • Identify and engage exceptional technical talent, with a focus on strong builders, problem solvers, and high-ownership candidates • Coordinate structured interview loops and enforce consistent feedback capture across interviewers • Drive offer strategy and closing, including leveling, comp alignment, and counter-offer navigation • Own the ATS: pipeline hygiene, feedback documentation, reporting, and data integrity • Build and maintain hiring infrastructure: interview rubrics, scorecards, leveling guides, and onboarding processes for new hiring managers • Analyze funnel metrics (conversion rates, time-to-fill, source quality, offer acceptance) and use that data to raise bar and improve efficiency
• Design and own end-to-end onboarding programs for AE, BDR, and partnerships roles — covering product knowledge, sales process, tool proficiency, and Flex's ICP • Build role-specific certification paths and 30/60/90-day ramp benchmarks; track and report on time-to-productivity for every new hire • Partner with sales managers to identify where new reps are breaking down and close those gaps fast • Develop and maintain a living sales playbook by segment — covering AE, BDR, and partner motions — updated quarterly or as the product and market evolve • Build and manage a content library: battle cards, objection-handling guides, competitive positioning, case studies, and discovery frameworks • Own call coaching infrastructure via Apollo — build review cadences, scorecards, and feedback loops that make managers more effective coaches • Facilitate enablement sessions (live, async, and AI-assisted) that are role-specific and tied to real deal scenarios, not generic training content • Champion and reinforce a consistent sales methodology across AE and BDR teams — including discovery, qualification, and multi-stakeholder navigation • Partner with RevOps to ensure Salesforce stages, fields, and dashboards reflect how the team actually sells • Identify execution gaps in the funnel (conversion rate drops, stage stall, ACV variance) and build targeted programs to address them • Own the sales enablement workstream for every new product launch — from pre-launch rep readiness and certification to post-launch reinforcement and feedback loops back to product; at Flex's current pace of product development this is a core, recurring responsibility not a one-off project • Partner with the RevOps Director on sequence strategy and outbound tooling (Clay, Apollo, Orum) to ensure BDR enablement keeps pace with GTM experiments • Define and own a core set of enablement KPIs: ramp time, content adoption, methodology adherence, win rate by segment, and pipeline conversion by rep cohort • Report on program effectiveness to sales leadership on a regular cadence and use that data to continuously improve

• Analyze new applicant data to support automated and manual credit decisioning. • Work with data extracted from business financial statements, tax documents, and banking integrations (e.g., Quickbooks, Netsuite, Plaid, etc). • Leverage insights from adjacent product usage (e.g., business banking, payments platforms) to evaluate risk profiles. • Build dashboards or tools to surface real-time indicators for underwriting and fraud detection. • Monitor account-level behavior post-origination, including spend and payment patterns, credit utilization, and engagement. • Identify signs of weakening creditworthiness using internal data and third-party credit reports (e.g., Experian, D&B). • Track and analyze delinquency trends and payment consistency to refine risk models and collections strategies. • Develop behavioral segments and performance cohorts for proactive account management. • Support P&L analysis of the unsecured credit card product, including interchange income, interest revenue, rewards cost, and charge-off rates. • Build models to evaluate customer lifetime value, profitability segmentation, and risk-adjusted returns. • Assist in identifying drivers of loss and opportunities for margin improvement.
