Role Description We are seeking a passionate Team Lead who thrives in designing and implementing high-performance systems. You'll lead our Signal Processing team, part of the Advice & Intelligence POD, working on cutting-edge technologies to process vast amounts of data and provide secure, real-time insights. As a Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing products developed by the Signal Processing team, which are crucial to Entersekt’s innovation pipeline. This team is responsible for processing signals and data at scale to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our authentication and fraud detection systems. You will oversee the development of secure, scalable microservices and influence technical direction, best practices, architecture, and design. You’ll mentor software engineers, data scientists, and quality assurance engineers, while closely collaborating with cloud-based infrastructure and machine learning tools to build solutions that process and analyze data streams in real-time. Responsibilities - Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of robust, scalable microservices that process large volumes of data in real-time. - Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of machine learning pipelines integrated with AWS cloud infrastructure. - Direct the design of new features, ensuring high-performance and secure implementations. - Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their growth and preparing them for future responsibilities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative data-driven solutions. - Work closely with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and scaling of microservices in cloud environments (AWS). - Drive architectural improvements for high-performance, fault-tolerant systems. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience with general-purpose programming languages such as Java, Python, or Golang, with a strong grasp of object-oriented programming and design principles. - Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide and mentor a technical team. - Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS. Familiarity with key AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB and S3, and experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments. - Knowledge of large-scale data processing technologies, such as Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis, for handling real-time data streams and integrating them into scalable solutions. - Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, for managing microservices-based architectures. - Exposure to machine learning workflows and an understanding of how to integrate ML models into production systems. - Strong understanding of software architecture, with experience building and scaling microservices for high-performance environments. - Familiarity with security best practices, including knowledge of cryptography, public key infrastructure (PKI), and secure system design. - Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and performance tests, to ensure software quality and stability. - Agile experience: Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies, contributing effectively in cross-functional, agile teams. - A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience is highly valued. • Lead a team through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative features and products that make up Entersekt’s EMV 3DS ACS product portfolio. • Communicate product vision, progress, and results of these services to clients and stakeholders across the organization to ensure adoption and awareness. • Define and execute roadmap for Entersekt’s EMV 3DS ACS platform. Develop product narratives, requirements and specifications for product features and enhancements. • Represent Entersekt on global bodies such as EMVCo and influence standards evolution. Serve as internal subject matter expert on these specifications. • Interface with Card Schemes such as Mastercard, Visa, American Express to champion Entersekt product offerings and contribute to best practices. • Take a hands-on approach to the design and implementation of rules engines and machine learning models to increase authentication success rates, minimize fraud and deliver great user experiences. • Own and execute all activities to achieve compliance and certification for products in portfolio. • Perform the role of product and domain expert to commercial teams in client pre-sales engagements. • Champion the design and implementation of Entersekt’s Context Aware authentication solutions across products and user journeys. • Serve as external spokesperson and evangelist to media and industry influencers as required. • Stay current with payment industry trends, opportunities, and mandates to ensure our workflows and products stay compliant and ahead of the curve. • Own commercialization of the Payments portfolio including the development of full set of product documentation, knowledge-based articles, white papers to implementation guides and API specifications, sales enablement and marketing content.

• Design, develop and maintain backend services within the 3DS Payment’s platform • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and distributed systems • Develop and support Java applications deployed on Apache Tomcat • Design, optimise and maintain MySQL database schemas and queries • Identify and resolve performance, stability and production issues • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical tradeoffs • Ensure systems adhere to secure coding practices and compliance requirements • Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps teams throughout the delivery lifecycle • Mentor and support other engineers within the team • Take ownership of features and services from design through to production

• Define and execute the partnership sales strategy focused on digital banking platforms, neobanks, and financial technology providers. • Identify, recruit, and onboard strategic partners that align with company growth objectives. • Develop joint value propositions, co-selling motions, and go-to-market plans with partners. • Own partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue targets. • Drive complex, enterprise-level sales cycles in collaboration with partner sales teams. • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing models, and partnership agreements. • Serve as the executive point of contact for key partners. • Build trusted, long-term relationships with partner leadership, sales, and product teams. • Conduct regular business reviews to track performance, pipeline, and growth opportunities. • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure partner success. • Provide market and partner feedback to influence product roadmap and positioning. • Support partner enablement through training, sales tools, and joint marketing initiatives. • Stay current on digital banking trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive landscape. • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner forums. • Act as a thought leader in partnership-led growth within digital banking.

• Operate production environments with a "security-first" mindset, monitoring both availability and potential threats. • Build and maintain secure IaC to manage platform scaling and consistency. • Ensure the success of security audits through automated compliance checks and rigorous evidence collection. • Bridge the gap between development, security, and operations to foster a robust DevSecOps culture within the wider Engineering department. • Manage core AWS services (EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda) with a focus on encryption, least-privilege access, and service reliability. • Develop and refine strategies for monitoring system health and security events using tools like OpenSearch, Prometheus, and Grafana. • Ensure all AWS environments meet relevant security standards. Implement and monitor "Policy as Code" using Terraform to automate audit-readiness. • Maintain configurations for automation tools, secure deployments, and vulnerability scans. Work with standardized SDLC tools to ensure consistent delivery to production. • Work closely with the teams and Software Engineers to ensure application deployments are successful, working as intended, and compliant with security standards. • Provide leadership and guidance on secure infrastructure practices to other Software Engineers across the organization. • Responding to operational incidents when necessary. • You partner with Sales as the trusted technical advisor on qualified opportunities across our payments and authentication suites. • Sales qualifies the commercial fit before you engage; from that point you own the technical evaluation: discovery with the customer's technical stakeholders, articulation of fit, technical objection handling, workshop delivery, POC scoping where required, and a clean handover to Solution Delivery at contract signature. • Inside the existing customer base, you support upsell and cross-sell where new ARR is in play. • Customers are predominantly issuers, merchants and acquirers, and payment networks. • The work is technical, the buyers are sophisticated, and the regulatory context (SCA, GDPR, card network rules and EMV 3DS specifications) is non-negotiable. • Deep expertise in one of payments or authentication is required, with working fluency across both.

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of card payment authentication products and customer authentication products. • Create and structure high-quality content that effectively communicates product features and usage to diverse audiences. • Gather the right information through interacting with developers and technical documents. • Balance coordinating inputs, developing drafts, and presenting ideas for content. • Tailor content to meet the needs of different audiences and stakeholders. • Collaborate with your manager, a technical writer, and a graphic designer.

• Engage qualified opportunities as the technical lead, partnering with Account Executives to win net-new ARR and surface expansion opportunities in the existing book. • Run discovery with technical and business stakeholders to understand pain points, current architecture, and commercial drivers; translate these into use cases and a credible Entersekt solution narrative. • Articulate Entersekt’s differentiators in language the customer can use internally to build their own business case. Not in product-marketing terms. • Address technical objections directly, including comparative positioning against incumbent vendors and in-house alternatives. • Lead technical workshops, demos and POC scoping with customer and partner technical teams. • Lead the technical sections of RFP/RFI responses in partnership with Sales. • Contribute to solution design alongside Solution Architecture, with clear scope boundaries: SE shapes the win, SA owns the build. • Deliver clean handovers to Solution Delivery at contract signature so the delivery team can execute without re-discovery. • Escalate product gaps, integration blockers and competitive intelligence to Product, Engineering and Sales leadership. Follow up until resolved; customer voice does not wait. • Build the product, domain and integration knowledge to handle most customer queries independently, reserve internal SME engagement for genuinely novel or high-risk exposures. • Produce technical content that accelerates pipeline: customer-specific briefings, integration guidance, comparative positioning material.

The Role As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be part of a small, highly capable team responsible for building and maintaining Entersekt’s infrastructure, deploying applications, and managing the databases and services that support them. Your primary focus will be on network and datacentre operations. As these activities typically require only part of your time, you will also take on a broad range of systems administration responsibilities and provide support to internal teams and customers. This is a senior, hands‑on individual contributor role in a security‑critical environment. Responsibilities - Build, operate and maintain secure, scalable systems within Entersekt’s physical datacentres. - Operate, maintain and monitor Java‑based application platforms across production and non‑production environments. - Operate, maintain and troubleshoot a FreeBSD‑based server platform, ensuring availability, performance and security. - Design, operate and maintain network and systems infrastructure, including both FreeBSD‑based and commercial (“off‑the‑shelf”) components. - Manage, maintain and improve routing and network infrastructure, both internally and externally. - Install, maintain and troubleshoot hardware in Entersekt datacentres and shared facilities. - Support the operation and hardware maintenance of PCI‑regulated infrastructure within shared datacentre environments. - Operate and support network resilience and availability services, including response to large‑scale traffic or availability incidents. - Assist internal security teams with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing and other security and compliance‑related activities. - Improve configuration management, package building and deployment mechanisms. - Handle change requests, deployments and routine operational tasks across the business. - Participate in change management planning, implementation and post‑change reviews, in line with internal controls and operational procedures. Skills and Experience Successful candidates for this role will generally possess the following qualifications and skills: - 6+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer or Network Administrator role. - Strong network management skills, including maintaining, developing and troubleshooting complex network architectures. - Hands‑on experience with BGP and OSPF routing, GRE tunnels, IPSec and WireGuard VPNs, and FreeBSD‑based open-source firewall platforms. - Strong troubleshooting capability, including packet capture analysis using tools such as Wireshark or termshark. - Solid experience working in on‑prem or hybrid datacentre environments. - Technical environment and domain experience (strongly preferred): - FreeBSD as a primary operating system. - MariaDB as a database engine, including experience with Galera clusters. - Extensive use of ZFS and FreeBSD jails. - Experience with network security scanning and related tooling. - Familiarity with Tomcat and Java servlet environments. - Fundamental understanding of security concepts, with a strong interest in secure system design. - Practical understanding of cryptography concepts, including correct and incorrect usage.
