Role Description We are seeking a passionate Team Lead who thrives in designing and implementing high-performance systems. You'll lead our Signal Processing team, part of the Advice & Intelligence POD, working on cutting-edge technologies to process vast amounts of data and provide secure, real-time insights. As a Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing products developed by the Signal Processing team, which are crucial to Entersekt’s innovation pipeline. This team is responsible for processing signals and data at scale to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our authentication and fraud detection systems. You will oversee the development of secure, scalable microservices and influence technical direction, best practices, architecture, and design. You’ll mentor software engineers, data scientists, and quality assurance engineers, while closely collaborating with cloud-based infrastructure and machine learning tools to build solutions that process and analyze data streams in real-time. Responsibilities - Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of robust, scalable microservices that process large volumes of data in real-time. - Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of machine learning pipelines integrated with AWS cloud infrastructure. - Direct the design of new features, ensuring high-performance and secure implementations. - Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their growth and preparing them for future responsibilities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative data-driven solutions. - Work closely with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and scaling of microservices in cloud environments (AWS). - Drive architectural improvements for high-performance, fault-tolerant systems. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience with general-purpose programming languages such as Java, Python, or Golang, with a strong grasp of object-oriented programming and design principles. - Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide and mentor a technical team. - Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS. Familiarity with key AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB and S3, and experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments. - Knowledge of large-scale data processing technologies, such as Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis, for handling real-time data streams and integrating them into scalable solutions. - Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, for managing microservices-based architectures. - Exposure to machine learning workflows and an understanding of how to integrate ML models into production systems. - Strong understanding of software architecture, with experience building and scaling microservices for high-performance environments. - Familiarity with security best practices, including knowledge of cryptography, public key infrastructure (PKI), and secure system design. - Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and performance tests, to ensure software quality and stability. - Agile experience: Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies, contributing effectively in cross-functional, agile teams. - A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience is highly valued. Role Description Coordinates the preparation and review of all required filings for Nevada Power Company and Sierra Pacific Power Company (together, the "Nevada Utilities") with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ("FERC"), and other nonpublic external financial reports within the NV Energy organization. Assists in the preparation of the NV Energy, Inc. ("NV Energy" or the "Company") reporting requirements, which are included in required Berkshire Hathaway Energy ("BHE") internal and external reports, including the SEC reports.
