We started in Insurtech, and we drive over $1B in annual premium billings through a network of nearly 365,000 agents. We deliver a single, easy to use platform for clients to distribute and market insurance and benefits products at all levels. At e123, we are a powerful, widely-used core product in a premier position central to our industry and a team with deep expertise in insurance distribution networks. Job Description We are seeking a high-impact Senior Implementation Project Manager to be the driving force behind complex, dynamic, high-stakes client implementations. This is an exciting and critical role for our company as we expand our enterprise implementations with insurance carriers, health plans and distributors. You will own the client experience and success as a professional, consultative project manager during their launch phase with e123. It will involve navigating the intricate business requirements of these clients alongside our technical experts while ensuring timely, high quality delivery of the software through robust, yet flexible project management. You’ll bring client and internal teams together as one, while speaking industry, business and technical language. While our technical team leads the advisory and solution design, you own the execution engine. You are responsible for the "Critical Path"—ensuring that every milestone is hit, every risk is mitigated, and every Gantt chart reflects the ground reality of the project. We’re looking for a senior operator who provides the tactical "guardrails" for our delivery process, ensuring that what we promise in the SOW is delivered with precision, and new requirements are navigated with a high degree of professionalism. At times, you may also lead the project management of strategic, complex internal projects requiring experienced project management leadership alongside product and technical teams. Beyond individual projects, you will act as a mentor to our broader PM team and a lead architect of the implementation toolkit that will allow us to scale. Core responsibilities: - Project Planning (Gantt) Mastery & Critical Path Management: Own the end-to-end project schedule and delivery for enterprise-level implementations. Build, maintain, and rapidly refine complex project plans. - SOW Feasibility & Resource Planning: Partner with technical team members during the SOW drafting phase to "reality check" and plan timelines, resource availability and realistic go-live dates. - Gap-Filling & Dynamic Problem Solving: Act as the proactive glue between our technical team and the client. When obstacles arise, you don't just report them - you ensure rapid solution generation and reorganize the project to keep milestones on track and the momentum high. - Toolkit Architecture & Process Improvement: Identify recurring friction points in our delivery model and build better project tools (playbooks, dashboards, launch plans, etc.) to eliminate them. - Stakeholder Navigation with Highly Professional “Bedside Manners”: Serve as the primary contact for senior and junior client team members. Translate technical status into business impact and hold internal and external stakeholders accountable to deadlines, while also addressing issues. - Functional Mentorship: Set the "Gold Standard" for PM excellence. While not a direct people manager, you will mentor junior PMs on best practices for managing high-value, complex projects. Required qualifications: - Insurtech/HealthTech Domain Expertise: 6+ years of PM experience in insurance or healthcare software. Familiar with the language of carriers and distributors (enrollment, distribution, etc). - Advanced Project Management Skills: Highly organized with a mastery of PM software (e.g., SmartSheet, Microsoft Project). Proven track record of managing projects with $100k+ ACV through to a successful go-live while meeting deadlines and managing resources. - Technical Literacy: Ability to manage technical projects and speak the language of configuration specialists and software engineers. - High-Fidelity Communication: The ability to command a room of senior executives and technical architects alike. Can simplify complex technical delays into clear next steps for non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable guiding clients through change management. Love mentoring others. - Strategic "Operator" Mindset: You possess the ability to see the "Big Picture" of a high value launch while maintaining an obsessive attention to the micro-details of a project schedule. - Process-Building DNA: Evidence of having built or significantly improved an implementation toolkit or Project Management Office (PMO) structure, including leveraging AI. - Resilience & Agility: Experience working in fast paced, scrappy SaaS environments with frequent project pivots. You can collaboratively get results while not taking no for an answer.
