Role Description Elementl Power is developing utility-scale advanced nuclear projects, which means our IT operations have to stand up to Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Department of Energy (DOE) export-control oversight and the documentation scrutiny that comes with institutional capital and federal regulators. We're hiring an IT Operations Lead to own the day-to-day execution of that program. Reporting to the VP of AI & IT, you will turn our compliance and security architecture into auditable, reliable operations across Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. This is an operator role: you ship the work, run the systems, and own the evidence. Compliance-grade IT operations are foundational to Elementl's ability to engage with regulators, institutional investors, lenders, and sophisticated counterparties. The auditable controls, controlled-data architecture, and operational discipline you build are what allow the company to develop advanced nuclear projects under NRC and DOE regulatory expectations and the export-control obligations that come with handling controlled technical data. Decisions you make in this role determine whether the company's data, identity, and endpoint posture can withstand external audit and support the long-duration documentation requirements of nuclear development. Qualifications - 8–10 years of IT experience, with 2–3 years in a lead role. - Hands-on time inside a formal external audit in a cloud-first environment. - Deep working knowledge of Entra ID, Intune, and SharePoint Online, with hands-on GCP exposure. - Controlled-data segregation in an NRC, DOE, defense, or comparably regulated environment. - Operating SSO across a SaaS portfolio. Requirements - Implement and operate the IT components of our Code of Federal Regulations Chapter 10 Part 810 export-controls program. - Design and maintain controlled-data architecture and foreign-national access restrictions. - Conduct access reviews and maintain audit logs in support of the Export Compliance Plan owned by Legal. - Produce technical attestation evidence that proves controls are actually working. - Stand up and run auditable IT controls aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0. - Own and operate Entra ID SSO across the company's SaaS portfolio. - Own the SharePoint tenant — information architecture, permissions, and sensitivity and retention labels. - Maintain security posture across the full SaaS and cloud surface area. - Run a Jira help desk against documented Service Level Agreements and runbooks. - Build serious automation on intake, routing, status updates, and the knowledge base. - Coordinate cybersecurity incident response, vulnerability management, and IT disaster recovery. Reporting to the SVP, Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, this role leads the development and execution of our Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA) program across a portfolio of nuclear power plant (NPP) projects. You’ll serve as Elementl’s Quality Assurance subject matter expert, shaping how quality is implemented in practice across engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction. This role sits at the center of project execution; working closely with the Chief Development Officer, project leadership, and functional teams to ensure quality is embedded from early site work through commissioning. We’re looking for a seasoned nuclear quality professional who understands what it takes to operationalize a compliant, effective QA program in a complex, multi-party environment. You bring deep familiarity with 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B and NQA-1, and you know how to translate requirements into practical systems, oversight, and behaviors that hold up under regulatory scrutiny.

Serving as Elementl's primary NRC interface for assigned scopes and owning delivery of all licensing workstreams from pre-application through operations. We're looking for a seasoned nuclear professional who brings deep regulatory expertise and firsthand licensing experience. You know how to turn design information, safety analyses, and regulatory commitments into a clear, traceable, and defensible licensing basis, bringing in operating experience where it actually matters. You’re comfortable leading NRC engagements, and you can keep complex safety-basis work moving across reactor vendors, A&E, OE support teams, and regulators without losing technical rigor or momentum.

The nuclear workforce is undergoing a generational transition, and critical expertise is at risk as experienced professionals retire. The talent we need is scarce, highly specialized, and not accessible through traditional approaches. This is not a plug-and-play recruiting role. You’ll own recruiting execution across the business while building the pipelines and relationships needed to access hard-to-reach talent, working with the Chief People Officer on strategy. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to fill critical roles, particularly in nuclear technical roles, while strengthening how we identify, engage, and attract talent over time.
