Role Description This role owns core parts of the agent stack, deciding how agents plan and execute, how they interact with data, and how we evaluate and improve them over time. You'll work across: - Agent systems: planning, tool use, multi-agent orchestration, long-context workflows - Backend and infrastructure: agent services, data pipelines, and observability - Evaluation and post-training: Designing evaluation harnesses, feedback loops, datasets, and improving agent behavior What You'll Do: - Design and build production agent systems: - Tool execution frameworks (MCP servers, sandbox environments, tool architectures) - Planning and reasoning pipelines - Context and dependency aware agent execution - Own services that power production agents: - Reliability, latency, and scaling improvements - Observability integrity (logging, tracing, evaluation hooks for offline and online evaluation) - Develop evaluation and feedback systems: - Define metrics for agent performance (offline and online) - Own evaluation harnesses and test suites - Instrument systems to generate high-quality evaluation and training data - Contribute to post-training and model improvement: - Dataset generation (trajectory collection, preference data) - Fine-tuning (SFT, DPO, etc.) for modules where context engineering isn't enough - Prompting and system design for better reasoning and context management Qualifications - Experience building or working with LLM-powered systems - Familiarity with Agents, tool use, or structured reasoning systems - Experience with ML evaluation systems for ambiguous objectives - Ability to own problems end-to-end - Strong product intuition Requirements - Experience with ML systems or training workflows, finetuning (SFT, DPO, RLHF, etc.), dataset construction and evaluation pipelines - Experience building agent frameworks for tool-using LLMs for long-context or retrieval-heavy workflows - Familiarity with modern inference, frontier APIs, and serving stacks (vLLM, SGLang, or similar) - Experience at a startup owning large systems independently Benefits - Remote team: work from where you need to - Flexible paid time off: because you're an adult - Generous health insurance reimbursement through QSEHRA - Competitive salary - Equity packages - Company-performance bonus Company Description We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. Role Description We're hiring our first Sales Development Representative to build the foundation of our enterprise sales pipeline. This is a high-impact role where you'll be hunting net-new opportunities, engaging C-suite executives, and introducing a sophisticated AI product that solves real business problems. You'll be working at the intersection of AI innovation and complex B2B sales, helping leaders understand how Cue can transform their decision-making without requiring them to become data scientists. What You'll Do - Pipeline Generation - Identify and prospect into target accounts across financial services, healthcare, education, legal, insurance, and similar industries. - Build qualified pipeline and execute on initial prospecting, leveraging AI-native sales tools. - Research prospects deeply to understand their business challenges, data infrastructure, and strategic priorities, and inform positioning for sales collateral. - Executive Engagement - Craft highly personalized, insight-driven outreach to VP and C-level executives. - Conduct discovery conversations that uncover data challenges, budget cycles, and organizational pain points. - Articulate complex technical concepts (data transformation, ML modeling, AI analysis) in business terms that resonate with non-technical buyers. - Strategic Selling - Navigate long, complex enterprise sales cycles with patience and persistence. - Understand and communicate Cue's unique value proposition: the combination of human data science expertise with AI-powered analysis. - Qualify opportunities rigorously against ideal customer profiles. - Collaborate closely with GTM on strategic account planning, pitching, and closing. Qualifications - 3+ years of SDR/BDR experience in enterprise sales for B2B SaaS. - Demonstrated success prospecting into C-suite (CMO, CFO, CRO, COO, VP-level). - Experience with consultative, value-based selling approaches. - Comfort navigating long sales cycles (6-12+ months). Software Engineer

Role Description This is a hands-on role spanning application engineering and infrastructure ownership. You'll work across: - Platform services (Go, multi-service architecture) - Infrastructure (AWS, Terraform, Ansible, deployments, observability) - Occasional agent/Python work (FastAPI worker + eval/training tooling) You should be a strong self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and can drive features end-to-end with minimal hand-holding. What You'll Do: - Own tickets and features from discovery through production rollout and follow-up. - Build and improve backend services across API, auth, chat, web/admin, integration, inference routing, and data services. - Design and operate AWS infrastructure across environments using Terraform and Ansible. - Manage and improve release workflows (container builds, ECS deployments, blue/green patterns, rollback readiness). - Strengthen reliability through monitoring, alerting, tracing, and incident response. - Debug cross-service and infra issues quickly, with clear communication during incidents. - Partner with product, data, and ML teams to deliver complete, production-ready functionality. - Contribute to light Python/agent work when needed (FastAPI worker behavior, cache/messaging integration, eval/training workflows). Qualifications - 5+ years in software/platform/infrastructure engineering in production environments. - Strong backend experience in Go. - Strong production experience with AWS (ECS/Fargate, ALB, Route53, RDS, ECR, IAM, Secrets Manager, networking). - Strong Terraform experience; practical Ansible experience. - Proficiency with containerized development and deployment workflows (Docker, CI/CD, release automation). - Solid observability and operations experience (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry/Tempo, logging). - Experience with distributed systems and async messaging patterns (e.g., NATS, Redis). - Comfortable moving between app code and infrastructure code as part of the same feature. - Excellent execution skills: proactive, organized, pragmatic, and able to close loops. - Strong communication and collaboration across engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
