• Design and implement end-to-end data architecture including application CDC, streaming, schema design, transformation, warehouse/mart modeling, and consumption-readiness with IaC and automation-first delivery. • Build resilient multi-region database and replication topologies with automated failover and DR. • Architect streaming pipelines with correctness, replayability, and schema evolution as first-class concerns. • Model, document, and catalog marts for downstream self-service analytics and customer-facing consumption. • Build monitoring, alerting, and data-quality observability across data platform services. • Own PII classification, lineage, access controls, and encryption in partnership with Security. • Mentor engineers and set architectural standards across data platform craft. • Treat compute and storage spend as a design input.
• Own day-to-day product execution and roadmap across Data Services and Integrations initiatives, including Doma’s Public API • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Manage and prioritize the product backlog across multiple workstreams • Partner closely with engineering to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions • Support integration efforts with external partners, ensuring reliable and scalable data exchange • Bridge subject matter experts and AI systems, synthesizing domain feedback to improve how AI agents process real estate documents • Define and track key product and operational metrics across data services and integrations • Establish visibility into system performance, throughput, latency, and failure points • Monitor trends and proactively identify degradations, anomalies, or risks • Act as the product point of contact for third-party data providers, middleware platforms, and technical partners • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify pain points and opportunities for automation, efficiency, and error reduction.
• Learn to use our title production software, and complete corresponding actions within it • Serve as the primary point of triage for inbound emails requiring manual review • As familiarity and performance are demonstrated, support phone communications • Conduct quality review of all documents for signatures • Identify documents for needed actions as per Lender Instructions • Sort and file necessary documents for recording • Facilitate the management of secured emails
• Communicate, timely, professionally and courteously with our borrower and lender customers • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of lenders • Identify and understand curative issues that require attention/resolution and direct communication with lender or borrower • Communicate with borrower or lender to resolve curative issues as needed • Document preparation for necessary items including but not limited to conveyance Deeds and Subordinations where legally permitted • Prepare final closing package, including final settlement statements, revised CDs, borrower proceeds preferences, borrower affidavits, and more • Perform pre-close quality review of all title and escrow documents • Review lender documents for accuracy (review vesting page, signature pages, riders, deeds, ensure loan amount matches CD, ensure document dates match schedule dates) • Review and understand lender instructions in their entirety • Complete closings in a timely and high-quality manner • Prepare files for final policy generation, recording, and settlement statement • Confirm vesting during balancing • Ensure all invoices are obtained and funds collected prior to close • Balance a closing disclosure • Ensure that closing documents are delivered to the notary for signing (ensure all signers are present for closing and that document packages are delivered to signing agent/notary portal) • Verify signing details and accuracy of signed loan documents • Perform post-close file reviews for accuracy of payoffs, vesting, and lender documents for the disbursement of funds • Adhere to established quality and compliance standards • Effectively manage and resolve escalations

About the Role The Associate, Title & Curative is responsible for executing their assigned roles and functions with timeliness, expert accuracy, and precision for all standard workflows on standard files. They are able to identify more complex files for escalation to senior team members, and are still learning how to complete those more complex files. They can assist more junior team members on basic workflow responsibilities. They proactively meet customer needs and provide a delightful customer experience. They exhibit the company values, and collaborate with their Supervisor to create an efficient, enjoyable work environment. Responsibilities Work with internal and external systems to clear curative matters that may hinder the closing of the transaction. The associate needs to be very tech savvy and be able to utilize many system resources to cure potential issues Review defects in Title including property line adjustments, missing titleholders, liens, judgments Review chains of title to determine clouds on title and effect methods to clear defects Work with closing department to ensure proper payoffs for closing Order deeds to change vesting when necessary to ensure a timely and smooth transaction Review and clear files to close Review and understanding of more complex files, Trusts, plat maps Review releases to determine if release is valid for the omission of a lien Work with outside creditors for judgment liens, child support liens Reviews and determines if Attorney Title Opinion Letters are valid, need clearing or clear for a final clear to close Communicate internally and externally as needed Required Skills & Experience Has 3+ year(s) of title & escrow experience with demonstrated success. • Drive adoption of our products through partner platforms • Sell lenders on why they should opt into these programs, commit resources, complete technical work, and push to the front of the line for limited program slots • Actively influence partner sales organizations, including large field teams, to understand, position, and promote our offerings to their customers • Create and deliver enablement materials, webinars, and executive-level messaging to arm partner sales teams with a clear value story • Work directly with external senior leaders and large lenders to unblock onboarding, accelerate timelines, and resolve issues • Balance one-to-one lender selling with large-scale partner leverage, knowing where direct pressure versus partner pressure will move the needle fastest • Support the onboarding and activation of new lenders once accepted into partner programs, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders • Represent the company with executive credibility, holding court with partner executives and lender leadership • Operate independently in year one as a strategic individual contributor, supporting the executive leadership team rather than building or managing a team
