Field Systems Implementation Specialist

Role Description The Field Systems Implementation Specialist leads end-to-end software implementations for veterinary clinics, ensuring seamless onboarding, workflow alignment, and strong long-term adoption. This role serves as the primary hospital-facing project lead from initial scoping through go-live and stabilization. You will partner cross-functionally with Internal Operations, Care Advancement, IT/Data, and Leadership to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives. The ideal candidate combines project management expertise, veterinary workflow knowledge, and strong communication skills. This role requires managing multiple concurrent implementations in a fast-paced environment. Travel: Approximately 70% including on-site go-live support as needed. Key Responsibilities - Implementation & Project Management - Own the full implementation lifecycle from discovery through post-launch sustainment - Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk tracking - Ensure projects meet defined scope, quality standards, and KPIs - Maintain accurate documentation in Smartsheet and other project management systems - Manage multiple concurrent implementations while meeting deadlines - Client Leadership & Communication - Serve as the primary point of contact for veterinary clinics throughout implementation - Lead project meetings, status updates, and go-live coordination - Provide consistent progress reporting to internal stakeholders - Identify risks early and drive timely resolution - Training & Workflow Optimization - Deliver structured, role-based software training (clinical and administrative teams) - Align system configuration with clinical workflows, revenue processes, and operational best practices - Support go-live readiness and on-site or remote launch activities - Monitor adoption and recommend workflow improvements post-launch - Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement - Partner with internal and external stakeholders to scope projects and define milestones - Support integrations, feature launches, and system enhancements - Contribute to standardized implementation playbooks and documentation - Continuously refine processes to improve scalability and client experience Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in veterinary software implementation, training, customer success, or project management. - Direct experience working in a veterinary clinic or implementing veterinary software - Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to travel (70%)
