• Drive sales growth and expand Canadian Solar's distribution business throughout Central America and the Caribbean • Identify, recruit, and onboard new distribution partners throughout the region • Expand Canadian Solar's presence and market share within existing distribution accounts • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor owners, purchasing teams, sales leadership, and key decision-makers • Create pull-through demand by engaging EPCs, installers, developers, and other channel influencers • Develop territory plans focused on new business acquisition and long-term channel growth • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and expansion • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and territory planning • Monitor competitive activity and provide market intelligence to support business strategy • Represent Canadian Solar at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings throughout the region
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the solar industry
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of developing new business
- Strong existing relationships within the solar distribution ecosystem throughout Central America and/or the Caribbean
- Experience working with solar distributors and channel partners
- Demonstrated success identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities
- Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of distribution sales models, territory development, and channel growth strategies
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60% throughout the region

Role Description The Associate Sales Representative manages a defined territory in the Dallas, TX area by establishing and growing healthcare provider relationships while executing day-to-day territory responsibilities. This hands-on, field-based role combines account development, territory planning, order management, and patient support. You will guide orders from referrals through insurance approval, delivery, and onboarding, working closely with the Territory Manager and internal teams.
